We're kicking off the league offseason with a new GM in Tennessee and our first hype video entry of the year:

@The Oi

This contract, man. It's so bad. The Cowboys have to tag Pollard, right? They can't let him leave. Elliott does not have a featured back workload in him. They can't cut him either. lol

First, I don't think they should tag Pollard. Tagging him makes his cap hit this coming year enormous. They likely work out a longer-term deal that makes the cap hit manageable while Zeke is still on the roster.

Second, Zeke probably gets cut after 2023 for a 6M cap hit.

Ran Carthon = welcomed

This only raises the bar. I bet in the next few years we see a GM intro hype video where he/she rides a horse into the building.

Zeke will be 32 during that free agency period (turning 32), that is not a good age for a rb, hilarious how bad Jerry has been as a GM for a couple of decades.

This makes it sound like he was angling for the Cowboys job and it's clear that Mike McCarthy isn't getting fired. Galaxy brain says that he used other teams "interest" to try to press Jera Jone into firing McCarthy but that didn't work.

I think he was personally gunning for one of the LA jobs thinking McVey would retire or Staley would be out after his poor tenure... but neither materialized.

Either way it feels like a very shady move by Sean Payton. Working in the media and preying on other HC jobs looks bad enough already but even worse when those jobs don’t come open. It should make you question his intent on taking any job which is why his interest seems low right now.

And personally, I wouldn't pony up a first round pick for him... or just about any HC for that matter.

5 playoff appearances in the last 10 years. I can only hope Berry can be that bad someday.

They have 4 playoff wins over the past 26 years.

The last time they reached the Conference Championship game was 1995.

I expect the Browns and Berry to pass that level of success rather quickly.
