The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sorry if this has already been discussed, but has anyone played Marvel's Midnight Suns? It's 50% off on Steam at the moment and I'm considering it. I really enjoyed Xcom 2 and I've been told it has a similar type of game-play.

Heard it’s very good but not as much like Xcom as you think due to the card system

Finished God of War. Truly an incredible game - I was always a big fan of the original trilogy I can’t help but admire how Sony matured this storyline and the character of Kratos in these two new ones. It’s almost like we grew up but so did the the series.

Just one of those titles (just like 2018) where you finish it and just sit back and say goddam was that good shit.

Wish I had time to savor some more with the world and characters and 100% this game but , too much other stuff to play. I think I’ll come back eventually, as the wait for the next game is probably going to be close to a decade.

Great weekend of Big Run in Splatoon 3. Had a blast, and played it much more than the first Big Run.

I was playing Skyrim last night before going to bed and I guess I forgot to shut the game off. Turned on my monitor about five minutes ago and it was still paused, and now I've got about 15 extra hours of time logged on Steam. :chuckle:

Playing the originals as a kid, I just remember lots of nudity and Kratos being a "man too angry to die" The new one is truly a maturation of the original story in all respects.

Downloaded a ps3 emulator and started playing NCAA14 with current rosters. Fun throwback.

Looking for games on Steam that are single player. Anyone player The Witcher or Assassins Creed Valhalla? They both look decent, review wise.

You could argue Kratos was as much of an antagonist as anyone else in the original GoW series. I'd wager Kratos is the best developed video game character ever created.

Playing High on Life right now.

Did two bounties. Doing the third. If the game doesn't get better I'm going to just uninstall it and move on. Right now its a pretty shitty shooter whose entire appeal is "what if Morty was a gun"

Witcher 3 is hands down the best, most complete single player experience I've ever played through.

Have you played the Portal games? Portal 2 is one of the best games I've ever played. The first game is great too and you can beat it in an afternoon.

Will be checking both out. Thanks!

Stephen Merchant as Wheatley in the second game is probably my favorite video game character ever.

As a side note, any time in the second game when Wheatley is going on a tangent, I recommend sticking around to listen. Sometimes he goes on for a few minutes but if you move on you miss it and there’s some funny shit.

I know it was divisive, but I thought the end of Portal 2 was hilariously perfect.

Been enjoying Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Seems like Team Ninja’s Sekiro-style of Soulslike. But the parry windows aren’t too bad. Very satisfying combat. I’m only to the second boss - the first took me maybe 15 tries, apparently he’s one of the hardest.
