Game Thread | Game #77 | Cavs @ Hawks | March 28, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Thanks to the challenge, we don't have a TO. So next time you scream for JBB to challenge, remember this ending.

Hadn’t we just taken 2 TOs prior to the challenge, I kept thinking how mad I was going to be if we get to the end of the game and don’t have a much needed timeout

JB needs to take the fine this postgame. I mean I know it’s better with ATL in the play in but come on
100%. We've been fucked by the refs in a number of games this season and that's been proven by the last two minute report. JB just needs to throw haymakers.

If the refs weren't rigging the sport completely, we'd still have that TO and be up 1 point.
That's the thing too, we get double fisted. I'll change my mind going forward with these cheating fucks when it comes to using a challenge in the last 2 minutes. 1-2 Timeouts are the most valuable thing.

I almost thought he was hoping Young would dance OOB. I also think he didn't want Trae to get away from him.
That was a horrible effort by him. I can't stand his body language most of the time. Afterwards he looked around like "oh well".

As a defensive player I don’t know what you are supposed to do, not challenge the shot? Murray’s legs had to extend out to catch Mobley, that just made no sense.

Mitchell need garland to help out offensively, two badly missed shots late.

I realize that fans of the losing team in the first ever NBA game bitched about the refs not retrieving the ball quickly enough from the peach basket, and that complaining about the officiating has been a go-to of losers ever since.

That said, Murray should have had two offensive fouls rather than five points. And I didn’t know you could call a timeout before you had the ball.

Clown show of a game from start to finish. Pretty sure the rotation included The Brooklyn Brawler, Al Snow, and Hardcore Holly... that was a job! Enjoy your fake win Atlanta.

My guy, that is the entire NBA 90% of the final 2 minutes and 99% of the final 30 seconds
Yeah but we have this supposed talent of a generation in Mobley and he doesn’t touch the ball in close games.

The no call on Young was so awful on the Mitchell game winning miss.

Only one guy to watch on the rebound and they aren’t watching the box out on him.

Refs seemed really friendly to the home team on three point fouls throughout the night. Hawks needed this one and we didn't, so not too bothered. Hopefully we take a lesson from another close loss.
