Why are we cutting Watkins for Bell when Watkins is clearly better? Tillman at slot is an option, not to accommodate Watkins. I like Bell, but if its him or Watkins, the choice is insanely clear.
 
The team really likes David Bell and Anthony Schwartz guys. Y’all keep trying to cut them though.

And it's impossible to move receivers around to different roles in mid-August, because...?

What you seem to be saying is actual game day performances don't matter because it's preseason, am I following you right?

You're right, it's Bell.

Bell is the backup to Moore. He's been playing slot snaps the entire off season, and last year. While what Watkins is doing is great for him, it's against backups and as an outside WR.

I'd put Watkins on the roster too! Let him be the 6th WR! But cutting Bell makes no sense.

You're right, it's Bell.

And I also would keep both. Schwartz gotta go. I think Bell would make it onto the pratice squad, where as I don't think Watkins would.
 
They’re not cutting Bell and Schwartz to keep Watkins. They’ve invested too much draft capital in them to do that.

Players took the entire off season learning their roles, the front office has been evaluating these players and coaches have put them in their best place possible. Now, less than a month from the start of the season, you want them to change it all up for a dude because he's tearing up pre season? Especially when you don't know what moving Tillman would do to Tillman's development, which is infinitely more important than Watkins.
