The Chubb injury is absolutely irrelevant if this who Deshaun is. No more excuses for him. It's 8 games and in a moment of honesty, I almost guarantee you everybody in that building would void that contract in a heartbeat if they could.

Stefanski was one of the major proponents of bringing him here.

It’s absolutely fair that he gets the boot if Watson doesn’t turn it around.
 
The big thing with Watson is I think he’s still good but we are trying to run some Frankenstein deep 3rd offense when our best WR is a chain mover.

Our deep threat is a guy who’s a special teams player and our offensive line is duct tape right now.

We should be peppering the flat and middle of the field and picking our spots over the top. Instead we are trying to run these route concepts that challenge the boundary and take forever to develop.
 
watson seemed like he was playing at 60% speed/effort. playing like someone who got paid and doesn't give a shit about anything else. no fire, no emotion. Defense is legitimately good if not great (hard to say against pickett). no business losing that game. but browns is the browns.
 
Feel a lot of emotion in this thread. Hard to accurately judge the game after Chubb went down in such a brutal way. If we feel that, his teammates do ten fold. Team looked lost after he went down.
