2023 Week 2: Browns @ The Scum-Sucking Steelers.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Brisett did not look this awful in Stefanski’s offense.
Isn't this a totally different offense?

I don't understand this team not bringing in a QB that can run the Stefanski offense. He's running a system he's not used to.

This offense looks disjointed.

I would rather have Kirk Cousins with this defense than what we have now.

At one point in this game I was screaming for them to do what the Eagles did when both Belichick and Flores took away the deep ball. Just run the ball and see what happens later. This defense is too good to be playing hero ball on offense. This was very much like Josh Allen vs. the Jets (a team that is as bad as Pittsburgh on offense sans Rodgers)

We don't.

This team as currently constructed is blitzkrieging towards a 6-11 season. Maybe, maybe they can get to 7 or 8 wins if the defense keeps playing well.
Stefanksi just got fucked so bad. Browns miss the playoffs (and they will) media, fans are going to be calling for his head so bad...

Predicting that the worst possible outcome will happen doesn't make you an Oracle, it makes you clinically depressed.

Stefanski has always designed the offense to take advantage of great players on his offense and the weaknesses of his opponents. Few coaches can survive losing two All Pros, cone unexpectedly, and pull it out in-game.

Will it work out if you predict the Browns will never figure out how to switch identities? Odds are good... but you are also signing up for clinical depression to do this at every sign of conflict.

You don't have to do this. It's ok for people to be unhappy with what they just saw.

You know what man, you’re not wrong. Today took a huge toll out of me. I do not want to be bad. I do not relish in being bad. But my favorite player, the role model of role models has an injury that everyone starts saying is a career ender and then we follow that up with an inexplicable loss to a frankly mediocre division rival

I’m fucking depressed about it. I’m tired of it always being next year. You start to lose faith that the year ever actually comes

My only hope at this point is that the defense is very, very legit.

I'm so fucking sick for Nick Chubb man.

Shit isn't fair

Dude plays his heart out and never complains. He doesn't deserve that shit.

Yes, I know there are much more important things in this world but I just wanted to say that.

The rest of the season will be the bigger story with Kevin.

The route concepts we were sticking with maybe work with the best RB on the planet holding the LB’s for a half tick longer but once Chubb went out, we really didn’t adjust.

It’s possible we literally have no plays sans Chubb and it will be on the fly install but we did absolutely nothing creative when Nick went out.

Screens were non existent, no trick or misdirection plays, no sprint RPO action, etc, etc. It was like we just opted to ignore Chubb was out and hope for the best.

I’d definitely lay the fumble at Watson’s feet as there’s no excuse not just covering the ball and living to see another play. He has to feel like a punt is ok, relative to the defensive play and how horrifically bad Pickett is. That was definitely the back breaking mistake.

Next week might be rough too but there better be some significant shift in our offensive game plan last 2/3 of the season or you can just take this whole offensive staff away for me.

He's also smart enough to scheme the offense around not having Chubb. I believe that we're going to see less 2 TE sets (see ya Harry B), more Elijah Moore moving around the field, more short yardage options that get the ball out quicker, less PA deep developing pays.

Watson might as well retire because he’s trash. Take your millions and go away quietly.
