It's interesting you used Thompson as your example.

GSW need to trade him for whatever they can now. He doesn't fit this year or going forward for them to contend.
 
Porter is the real deal. No need to hesitate putting him in games.
Great game against the champs.
 
JB needs to go watch tape of Rubio and Garland when they played together

Porter Jr can be deadly with shooters surrounding him. Like what GS had with Livingston. Do you let Porter Jr cook one on one with the mid-range or leave the shooters around him wide open?
 
Cavs look more natural than what I've seen..more passing and flow to the offense. I'm not surprised. I know what it means.

Well he's just not a good player anymore. The injuries took their toll and he's lost too much of his athletic ability. Can't get separation like he used to.
 
Niang with his best game of the season. Porter was great again. I dunno how you can minimize his role going forward, though I expect it to happen because I also don't think you can minimize LeVert all things considered.


Allen was the player of the game for me. Really was up to the challenge tonight.

Agree, with the caveat that you'd better have a player and play maker better than Klay. On this team, sure, I would take essentially the best 3 and D player of all time because of Garland's presence. But if I need someone to lead a team, I'm taking Mitchell. That team will never win a championship, but neither will a team lead by Klay Thompson and Mitchell is still much better in that role.
