Well, at least we played one good quarter of basketball (except for a brief stretch) to get the win and get us back on track

When you're up 10 with under 2 minutes left, you don't rush the ball up the court. I swear this board kills me sometimes.
 
On the bright side...Garland got a little swagger back...Mobley really is a defensive Savant, Allen is formidable, Okoro is playing a high level (needs more time, can't believe it), LeVert is good enough to be a really nice luxury but that leash is so long (he's got to stop pretending to be Mitchell)...

Please play Wade and Merrill more

Recency bias.

He’s had two seasons in a row with bad injuries early. He made the All Star game two years ago and had to adjust his game with Mitchell’s arrival. This may not be the best place for him going forward if Mitchell stays but he’s a very good young point guard. If he was in Philly for example playing in Maxey’s role he’d be back in the all star game.

I realize that Garland can do no wrong in your eyes but DG didn't receive any pass from anybody on that play besides the toss in the backcourt. He slowly dribbled the ball across right across the timeline and WAITED for the double team

Individual Stats: Some great ones here.

Starters:
Strus: 3-3-5 in 26 minutes. He started well in the 3rd and helped us get the lead.
Mobley: 21-6-1 with a steal and 5 blocks in 29 minutes. JYD 9-11 fg Get him more shots
Allen: 22-12-5 with a block in 37 minutes. JYD 2 11-18 Give him 18 shots every game.
Mitchell: 16-4-5 with a steal in 36 minutes. Welcome back!
Garland 17-2-7 with a steal in 33 minutes.

Bench:
LeVert 18-12-8 in 28 minutes Great productivity 6-10 fg, 5-6 ft
Wade 0-01-1 in 8 minutes
Okoro 7-1-2 with 2 steals in 18 minutes
Niang 8-4-0 with a steal in 17 minutes
Merrill 2-2-1 in 6 minutes. Merrill is a surprisingly good rebounder for a 6 4 guard.
