2023-24 Season | Game #78 | Cavs @ Clippers | April 7, 2024 | 3:30 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They probably would have still won had DG not dribbled the ball off his feet with no pressure when they were up 6 with the ball. Or levert hacking George 50 ft from the hoop. A total team loss.
I literally posted wtf was he thinking when it happened. But it like clockwork with this guy unforced turnovers in last 2 mins of game is his calling card this time it happened 2 mins early. His been beyond awful all season in almost every faucet of the game

This what I was screaming at my TV after the commercial break. Sam should always and I mean always be in late game situations if we are down by any amount of points and on offense. His in that elite group with Curry/Allen/Korver tier when it comes to 3 point shooting so he commands alot of attention. This isn't rocket science it basketball 101. Pathetic
Def not in that group, but he should’ve been in the game for the little gravity he does have.

Garland also played 40 minutes on a backer. He got you to 115-108, other guys need to help on a backer. A isolation elite player he is not. Other guys with JB folded and led to a loss.
One of my biggest gripes here is overplaying a guy on a back to back.

That Mobley trip while guarding George on a crucial defensive play was funny.

Cavs are very talented but ...I say but...they are very careless in crucial situations ,,which means they aren't using their instincts and BB IQ's..

When you got vets like Strus getting techs, it means there is nobody in charge on the team. No plan. No fall backs. They are out there coaching themselves because whatever is being told to them isn't working.

Yeah, I've still had it with him. No basketball IQ. Obviously, I'm not serious in wanting Caitlin over him. He definitely doesn't have the basketball smarts she has.

I hope Garland he can improve his trade value though. He's got to be out. If they keep him, what a fail.
I still think Garland has it in him to play much better than he has with better coaching. As ugly as it can still look sometimes, today's game was still a step in the right direction for DG.

There's no leader on the court

100% he was the only one who could get a hoop. Levert settled for too many 3s, not sure he scored in second half. JB ran the guys into the ground, up 26 would have been a good time to let CPJ handle the ball for 4 min, change the pace. Mobley missing contested paint shots late in the third was fun too.

Darius Garland’s 4th quarter:
@10:37 bad pass stolen by Amir Coffey
@4:11 lost ball turnover stolen by Westbrook
@2:19 bad pass to Norman Powell
@1:37 misses driving layup
@0:37.1 misses driving floating jump shot
@0:01.1 Paul George blocks Garland’s 2 foot shot

We’ve seen this movie before
