Players and coaches do not tank or throw a game in real time game action
They do it, in conjunction with the FO, by deciding who sits with Boggs injuries and who plays at certain moments in the game.
But while they’re going up and down the court, no one is outright turning the ball over, launching an intentional airball etc
Exception to that I suppose from a pedantic standpoint is in a final game of the reg season scenario, there are guys who are only maybe giving 80 -90 % of usual effort so they might get blown by by someone they normally could get in front of but that not because they intentionally said “ oh, I’ll just let this guy go by me”
