Very much feels like the Atlanta Hawks a few years ago, only we didn't get to nearly the heights.

Everyone, including me, thought they were set up for a years of contention after that playoff run. But there was no improvement from Hunter or Young or Onkgugwu and trading for Murray didn't move the needle.


But at least they had one great run out of it!

Terrible terrible excuse - “some other team would have done it”. Either he’s good enough for a max and to make $45 million or he’s not. It’s the JOB of the front office to determine whether that’s true or not. They aren’t supposed to just look at his stat line like a lazy ass fan could do and say yeah alright seems ok let’s bet the future on him

I mostly agree. JA has redeemed himself. Struss, I think brought good energy to the city and played with heart even if his play wasn’t great. I'm intrigued to see how Mobley's career will evolve under a different coach or franchise. I wish success for Mitchell and Merrill.

As for everyone else, especially JBB and Garland, I have nothing positive to say.
 
The Clippers game is looking more and more like the signature game of the season.

Cavaliers have a “help I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” vibe.

The players lost all mental focus. I’m fine with blaming the coach for some of that and he’s dead man walking anyway but outside of JA the rest of them need to take a long hard look in the mirror. They did NOT have the mindset needed for professional athletes. That’s on each and every one of them.

We had two sitting on the bench. Neither saw a single minute. Games like this is when guys like TT and Morris need to see the floor. Especially when Wagner is showboating and JBB sits there like the cuck he is.
 
I really hope the Cavs learn from the past. One of the smartest and greatest decisions this organization made. Griffin went into the locker room, this is when we had the best record in basketball.

And knew 'something just isn't right', and came to the decision, Blatt must go. We were mocked and laughed by the decision. Even Pop, was making wise ass cracks over it. Well, we got the last laugh.

What did it do? We went on to win the NBA championship. That's the leadership we need, where someone just sees the greater good here. Koby certainly won't, so he has to go too.

Win or lose; the motto should be JBB, is fucking GONE! If we win the series, he's fired. It's over, done, nothing he can do to keep his job. If that's not the mindset, I have no hope.

Then a lot has to done in the offseason..You can't have a quality team who can't dominate on the road and counterpunch a team when they try to make run ..they come to pieces whenthey are hit hard.
Coach isn't making adjustments during the game.. Adjustments don't just get made at the half or the next game.
Nor are we being physical on the offensive glass..too many times I see a shot go up and 4 dark jerseys around the rim..
Our defense is not pressing them on the ball..we're allowing too much space.

Darius Garland was an all star that year. That wasn’t just Koby’s opinion but a coaches vote. The max offer was not controversial at all at the time.

He’s underperformed the past two seasons, both with injuries, but no question he’s been disappointing. That underperformance happened after the contract was signed.

i have no issue with Koby on this. He made the correct decision based on what was known at the time. Not reasonable to ding him for events afterwards.

Start of game 1 I think, he claiming you don't need to make adjustments, when you win or something to that effect. It was just asinine shit.

I've never heard a coach, ever, whether they win or lose, think adjustments aren't needed to be made. lol.

The fact he said it, was truly hilarious.
