Game 55 | Nuggets vs. Cavaliers | February 18, 2010 | 8:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Actually, come to think of it.

- Injured player coming back < check
- Player traded away < check
- Mike Brown is the coach < check

It had LOSS written all over it.

One thing that is positive is this team pretty much is never out of a game.

Every one of our losses is by like 2-3pts, nobody ever pulls away from us and it usually takes some miracle or hot shooting for a team to beat us.

LeBron's final assist came with 9:15 left in the 4th quarter.

That will change, and it will need to, when Mo and Jamison are at full strength.

But I'm not going to blame LeBron for this one. I blame the Cavs defense for giving up 31 in the first and the fourth quarters. It's hard to win when you end up giving up 118 points.

Of all the teams in the NBA Denver is the one that worries me right now. I think that we can beat them in 7 though.

I'm more worried about LA and Boston. Not Orlando though, cause VC sucks ass in the clutch.

anyone want a good laugh? go read cavfagnatic and tell me how fans can be that distraught after one loss to the top team in the league.

WE are the top team in the league...

And what the hell are you doing on CavFanatic? Obviously you read it if you are directing us toward it. Don't act like you are making fun of it when you are probably a member...

Lol at everyone getting butthurt over me talking about Lebron crying.

I was serious too, it wasn't a joke. Did you guys not see him run off after the buzzer, literally looked like he was crying or gonna cry. Don't tell me all of you ignored that.

I hate when we lose these type of games.

I'd prefer losing by 10+ than shooting our selves in the foot and losing.

I dont. This can be corrected. Being out-classed? That's another story.

This game was lost at the free throw line. Nothing else to talk about. Not one thing. If we shoot 65% we win by 5+ points. And for those jumping to the conclusion form this game that Denver can beat us in a seven games series...based on what? This was 75% of our team tonight, Mo might as well be on a leash, no Z and no Tawn. You know, the guy who is supposed to put us over the top? Don't read into this. If anything, this game demonstrated how good we are, shoot23-40 at the free throw line, get out rebounded on the offensive glass, and not be healthy, and the game is STILL is decided by one shot? I'll take it. On to the bobcats. oh, and 23-40. 23-FORTY

i'm ok with the team situation.. but fully mature lebron would've drove to the hoop there at 1st opportunity, not 3rd

Did you just proclaim not to make an excuse, then make an excuse??? :chuckles:

I like your moves...

Saying you lost because you shot free throws poorly isn't an excuse. An excuse would be saying you shot free throws poorly because you were distracted by one of the Cavalier Girls behind the basket jumping around topless.

I'm afraid to look... not much we can do but go forth with our team now.

I agree. :runs:

This.

Mike Brown's teams will not and can not win games when they allow a team to score well over 100 points.

I think we should be concerned with how we defended the nuggets more then anything else. That team shreds us on the pick and roll and MB is too stupid to make adjustments.

They shredded us on the pick and roll a few times, MB adjusted and pulled Shaq. Then it was fine.

They had 16 offensive rebounds, took FOURTEEN more shots than we did, took SEVENTEEN less FT attempts and only got outscored by TWO from the FT line.

Effort was the key tonight.

Nah, he wasn't crying. That was just him feeling really really bad.
