Game 77 | Cavaliers @ Celtics | April 4th, 2010 | 1:00 PM (EST)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeBron is trying to win that game the way Kobe wins a game and that is by shooting the jumpshots that he forgot how he was able to erase a 17 point deficitjust by going through the rim. I miss Shaq in this situations. I remember a game when Shaq insisted that he take it had to the basket and he actually listens.

This. Shaq will be there in the playoffs and tell LeBron to go to the hole if he wants his ring.

The classic 20 point 4th quarter choke? LeBron is not a good free throw shooter... thus he will not go 2-2 every time. The 3 was an attempt to finish things without taking free throws, not that crazy really.

He shoots 77% from the line. He is a superstar that says he wants to be in those situations and he failed at the last 3 key moments of the game.

That's a choke job. Sorry. It is what it is.

Aww come on people, learn to embrace reality. Once LBJ decided to go for the win, the Cavs lost. While this loss hurts, better yet, stings, its our 17th loss of the season and we clearly showed we are better than the Celtics this season. They had everything to play for, we have nothing. We will have the one seed overall, we just have to win one more. With all that being said, I wanted to hate on the Celtics some. I have no idea what their coaching staff can say positively about this win, they clearly can't compete with us when we are on all cylinders.

ok so Bron has missed all of his threes going 0-7, the team has a golden opportunity to ice the game, two timeouts left, he gets the ball an decides to run the floor instead of taking a timeout, an instead of going to the rack and seek contact, he decides to pull up for a long three??? where's the logic in that shit? that's probably the worst decission you could actually take for that situation, besides shitting in your pants and singing YMCA...

btw

The funny thing is, if we played like we wanted to win this game we would have blown them out of the building.

Well that was a pain in the ass to watch... Only thing that eases my mind is that Boston should feel worse about this win than the Cavs feel about this loss(keep in mind we have no Shaq or Varejao).

Terrible decision by Lebron either way. With the way he was getting to the basket throughout the 4th, if he had done the right thing and drove to the hoop, 2 points should have been counted before he even passed the foul line.

If Lebron made that shot you all would be ball washing him.

Can't feel too bad about that loss. I mean the Celtics were up by what 22 at one point? Man I hope we can get them in the 2nd round. Bouncing them will feel so good.

And if my grandma had wheels she'd be a wagon.

It was a dumb shot.

I don't have a problem with Lebron taking that 3 in transition. This was a regular season game in which Cleveland did not need to win. If Lebron hits that 3, game over. I'm pretty sure in the playoffs, Lebron will not be hoisting up nine 3-pointers in a game and especially take that 3 in transition. All of you who are hating, please stop. If it wasn't for Lebron's efforts, the game would've been over early in the 4th, the Boston crowd would've gone crazy and it would've been an embarassing lost for Cleveland.

This was the best thing that could have happened to the Cavs. A come back win would have just reinforced their bullshit habit of taking huge stretches of games off.

They killed Boston in the 4th, but got the eye opening loss. Boston running their mouth and Lebron choking will just put some needed fuel on the fire that has barely remained lit for the last few weeks.

His three point shot isn't exactly more reliable than his free throw.Especially when he was bricking them all night.

He was on the fastbreak with a full head of steam and just chucked one.

What is the point of putting so much effort into a comeback if you're just going to toss a hail mary at the end?

I missed the 3rd, and part of the 4th quarter.

Can anyone tell me (seriously, no jokes) why Mo sat the rest of the game?

Lebron got the Cavs into the game n took them out

you cant tell me the refs didnt have an impact on the outcome of the game
they gave the Celtics at least 2 pts
the play where tony allen held mo comes to mind

This was a statement loss for the Celtics. This game will make them remember that we only need 1 good quarter to beat their asses down. :D
