Round 1 Game 2 -| Cavs vs. Bulls | April 19, 2010 | 8:00 EST TNT

I hope we stop that trapping at the top of the key crap. Rose is good, but he's not going to beat us by himself. That scheme was a direct result of Rose being able to beat us off the dribble. Occasionally it is okay to try to slow him down, but not for extended periods of time.

As for JJ, I think we should at least give him a few meaningful minutes in the first half instead of Z next game. Z really killed us tonight on both ends of the court. His +/- was somehow a +5 though. Probably thanks to being in the game for some of LeBron's 4th quarter.

I agree on the defensive strategy completely.

Moon, West, and LeBron take a lot of gambles defensively. Hickson LIVES off of gambles, because he is young. I think Moon's entry into the rotation necessitates more Z, and the +5 shows he meshed well with his conservative post defense. He disrupts without leaving his feet, which allows him to keep better positioning for rebounds. We will also need Z to be in the zone when we play Orlando, which will be our biggest challenge long-term.

I can't say enough times how much I fucking hate Noah. He sounds like he never left college and he's just a goddamn asshole.

Defense would have been a lot better if we hadn't of given up so many second shots. Starting center being in foul trouble affected that though, as did overall Chicago hustle. I never thought we'd lose this game though, and having a few close games doesn't hurt anything.

LOL Noah said, "when the summer is here, we can at least say we fought hard against the best team."

I'm going to LITTLE BAR you cocksuckers. Meet me down there. My name is Ty Dahs. I got a grey OSU sweatshirt on.

Peace Bitches.

LBJ bailed out Brown...Andy didnt do much at all tonight and to sit Sha the last 19 minutes and to not have Tawn out there late was assinine....I don't care...if anything get AP outta there and let LBJ play 2 vs Hinrich...that was horrible...Shaq should have started the 4th and went at Noah and got the bulls in the penalty early...and Z isn't helping...JJ least gives us energy...Z isn't even rebounding at this point and if he isn't hittin a jumper he isnt much help...I hope we see alot more of JJ and running and gunning approach vs. Boston or Miami

I almost felt sorry for the bulls. Lebron holding the ball, waiting for the shot clock to run down, and then hitting the long range jumper in the face of anyone who dare oppose repeatedly. :D

Is LBJ so cool he can wear sunglasses at night?

LeBron said (in reference to the dunk), "I knew I got around him, and didn't think he would try to contest, so when i saw him out of the corner of my eye I decided to jump a little higher than him." Must be nice.

So, basically, you're saying sit Moon for the 4th. That would have been great. :chuckles:

Mike Brown rewarded a unit that was playing better than the Cavs had played since the late first quarter (which did not feature all the starters). And they rewarded him, led by LeBron. So you criticize Mike Brown?

It was an ugly game, they won, and the Cavs depth helped them do it. I don't have a problem with what Brown did. I do have a problem with the effort the Cavs gave for much of the game, though, until push came to shove.

We are still rusty and need to get used to playing with each other gain. It may actually be beneficial to lose a game to Chicago so that we can have an extra game to get our chemistry back before the second round.

no i said sit Ap...Shaq should have started the 4th and Tawn should have been playin late.....Moon or LBJ either could guard Hinrich or Deng....play West or MO with LBJ,Moon,Tawn, and Shaq or Andy down the stretch...Z's minutes need decreased...poor fella is worthless for the most part if his jumper isn't falling...also I think he gets tawn out of rhythm with playin him 6 minutes then sitting him 4 thhen playin him 6...if tawn needs that since he is older thats fine but of not I'd prefer he let Tawn go and get hot out there....all in all tonights performance wasn't good

This game was so irritating to watch... we could never build a lead until the last 6 minutes of the 4th. This was the least fun I have had watching the cavs in awhile, excluding of course LeBron's dunk and the last 6 minutes of the 4th. I hope we see a more complete game in Chicago on Friday.

Refs didn't do us any favors either...
