Round 2, Game 4 | Cavaliers at Celtics | May 9, 2010 | 3:30 PM EDT ABC

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Okay, so we win Game 3 and everybody thinks we will win in 5 and then we lose a tough Game 4 and now we are not focused and lazy? Come on folks, the Celtics played a tougher game than we did, and we did not lose because of a lack of focus and desire to win.

For all you bashing Mo, give him credit because he played his ass off the entire game. It's not easy to chase Ray Allen around off all those screens, but Mo gave a ton of effort out there.

Plain and simple, the Celtics played a better game. The reason the Cavs played poorly was because of the Celtics and their hard-nosed game. We've still got homecourt and we will regroup and win Game 5.

Personally, I think this team has chemistry issues. I might be attacked for that opinion, but there are too many chefs in the kitchen. Jamison needs plays called for him to be truly effective. Shaq is demanding the ball. James is pretty much the ball dominant player on the team. Even Mo Williams is a shoot first player that doesn't play defense. Shaq and Jamison didn't even get to play together a lot. Too many players need the ball in their hands.

Speaking of Shaq, those fouls he drew earlier really paid off, didn't they?

Shaq played better than any Cav today....if you think otherwise you're not bright...

It would have paid off if we actually attacked the hoop

And a PNR for Jamison isn't exactly a play ran...he cuts well without the ball

I don't know if anything you just said was accurate other than LBJ being the dominant player

Rondo is for real.

He completely dominated this game on both ends of the floor, that is no fluke.
He's not going to be putting up 27/20 and however many assists he got again.. Celtics are always looking to fast break on misses, don't understand why we don't realize this yet.

And that is why we keep losing. Nobody else steps up. If he has a bad game we are screwed. F them all not just James... Nobody expects anything special for other and so they keep sucking.

Other players cannot step up when LeBron James doesn't play team basketball.

We got homecourt back.

In our previous two playoff losses, the Cavs responded well winning both on the road by 23 and 29.

LeBron's stats in those two games:

37.5 PPG
10.0 RPG
9.0 APG
64.1%
75% (3PT)

Rondo is a fluke? No, the guy is a stud. He's one of the best point guards in the NBA and probably the best point guard in the East.

Maybe we should look at another 40% 3 point shooter on our team, yes? That's the advantage of depth, right?

How can any sane person say that Rondo had a fluke game? He tore us up, but that wasnt the problem. rondo can get his, but he have to rebound and drive

I love this teams "only win the games we absolutely have to" attitude. Great championship attitude!

Shaq did decent, but you're missing the point. When we run our offense through Shaq our offense goes to shit. It usually leads to turnover or a missed shot by Shaq which leads to Rondo running the ball down our throats. We have to run a better offense to beat Boston.

LeBron was afraid to take shots even when the game was tied in the third quarter, if he really wants to be a champion, he need to have more hunger..How can you be so laid back while your team is down and none of your teammates are making shots? I'm gonna wait for game 5 to make my final thought on if LeBron has the instinct of a champion.

I'm not mad, because we still win the series, and probably in 6 games, but it's the fact that we're having to play these extra games while Orlando gets to rest.

We've talked about being able to overcome adversity, blah blah blah. But there comes a point where playing these extra games becomes more of a risk (injury) or burden (Shaq needs some rest to go against Howard for up to 7 games) than it is a learning experience, or whatever you want to call facing adversity is...

4-21 from 3, gotta knock down open jumpers in the playoffs or you don't win anything (of course they were 1-14 from 3).

I am going to go on a tirade and no one is going to stop me:

FUCK you Cavaliers. You fucking screwed up any shot at making it easier on yourself. I don't understand how such a gifted player in LBJ can totally just not be into a game of this magnitude. All of your hard work in the 3rd for nothing. I hope you are fucking happy, the fans aren't.
