Reghi just said Gund nixed a Paxson deal back in the day that would've brought Sheed here for Z. Gund wanted no part of Sheed. Can you really blame him?

Athletes are like spoiled children and most of the time have to be handled with kid gloves. Otherwise they whine and bitch and moan and make a stink.

Maybe I'm over stepping here, but could we cool it with the songs and the discussions about Cleveland Browns contracts? It makes the thread awfully difficult to follow if you step out for even a half hour.

I know a place where the faces are so cold I travel all night just to get back HOME. I'm a cowboy on a steel horse I ride I'm wanted Dead or alive...
 
Just throwing this out there, LeBron did send in his request before the March 5th deadline. Might be too far into the past to have any relevancy now, but still...

According to NBA rules, James has until March 5 to send a formal request to the league office to change his jersey number. That request, though, would be pertinent only if James re-signs with his hometown Cavs this summer. James is free to pick any available number if he signs with a new team for next season.

From all the crap going on (from the fire and ash) we will emerge stronger (a light from the shadow shall spring) with a new sense of pride and resurgence (renewed is the blade that was broken). Keep in mind we won titles with the Indians and Browns before. So it is just a matter of time before the Crownless (the modern generation of Cleveland Sports Fans) returns as King (as a champion).

Local ESPN radio in West Palm Beach is reporting that LeBron met with Donnie Walsh & Isiah Thomas, who were making one last pitch for the Knicks. I have no idea why Isiah was there, as he no longer works for the Knicks and coaches FIU now.

Anyways, they're ripping on LeBron for being willing to meet with Isiah Thomas, who doesn't even work for the Knicks, but he was unwilling to talk to Tom Izzo. Going back to the Izzo thing, doesn't it make you wonder if LeBron knew back then that he likely wasn't coming back to the Cavaliers??
