2020 Off-Season Rumors/News

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That is, unfortunately, never going to happen.

But I think Lux/May and potentially a third piece is something that seems realistic enough to get done. Anything less than two of those three, with Lux being a firm add, is not acceptable for me.

Do you think Lux, May, and a guy like DJ Peters would be at all realistic? Peters projects to see some MLB action next season and is LAD's #12 prospect. He's got a lot of power potential but he also strikes out a lot.

I don't think I'm doing the trade without both Lux and May at the very least.

Trying not to get my hopes up on something like that. Quite frankly, I'm surprised that the offer would include those first two.

Since its being reported by Nightengale, I'll take it with an enormous pillar of salt.

Lux, May, Pederson and a lower level prospect would probably be enough of a return in my eyes to trade Frankie as devastating as it would be to see him not suit up for us anymore.

Cleveland Sports sucks, we know that.

LeBron and Frankie are the best thing since sliced bread. Now they can relive their Cleveland days and swap LA jerseys.

Trade Lindor and Kluber for sure top of the line talent, or play for a World Series but with limited payroll of course?

I hate this wash, rinse, repeat never ending cycle of Cleveland baseball. We'll trade for top prospect John Doe, and eventually trade the once top prospect in John Doe because we can't afford him in this ridiculous league that is the MLB. When does one just say fuck it and lose interest in a neverending cycle? Maybe most already did, see attendance.

Though that being said, we have one of the highest rated TV so I think some of the job losses in the area over the years plus the annoying parking situation and tickets prices that keep going up are also a pretty big factor as well. I mean on the cheap end, on a non-promotional week day it’s around 110 for 4 people per game plus food, so make that at least 150 per game, then if you come from Canton add another 10ish for gas in a good vehicle so tell me how the average person can afford to go often?

NY Post is reporting that the Angels also have expressed interest in Carrasco

So, apparently, former Indian's player Wayne Garland has the longest signed contract as a pitcher in MLB history - 10 years for $2.3 million in the 1st year of MLB free agency (1976).

He was cut after 5 years with a losing record.

If they thought attendance has been bad the last few years then oh boy just wait until this year.

Aside from some modest increases/decreases, attendance has been about the same for a long time. This won't significantly decrease it, just like signing free agents wouldn't significantly increase it.

With regard to a potential Angels deal, you’re certainly not getting Jo Adell. Don’t think you’re getting Fletcher either.

Package of Brandon Marsh and Luis Rengifo is about what I’d consider as a ceiling.

Ton of really good young guys in that system too, but not sure they’d be looking toward talent at that level.
