Nice game
Definitely part of our future.Nice game
But can Sexton compliment anyone besides himself? If he used the atention that he draws to drop some dimes to his teamates I would agree with you.I would like to see Sexton and KPJ play a little more together as a pairing for the backcourt. I think they can better compliment each other more than Sexton and Garland have to this point.

They can both put pressure on the defense and Porter seems to be willing to run in transition which should help with the higher pace that Sexton wants to run.
Sexton needs to work on getting assists but I think he will be willing to pass to Porter more than Garland because Porter is much more willing to catch and shoot when he has a open shot. Garland too often passes up a open 3 just to miss a floater or to not even take a shot.
Take sexton out as the starter and then start KPJ with Garland? So KPJ can feed Garland the ball for a wide open three that probably wont go in? I don’t know what to think of this season/roster. After what I’ve seen so far I think Garland really needs to come off the bench (no disrespect to Garland, he just simply needs time). It’s early to say for sure, but Garland does not seem to shine in the spotlight and Porter seems to take advantage of every minute he is given. I’m sure part of DGs struggles is because of his size and because he is basically coming out of high school plus he does not have great/good/consistent players around him. I still think you need to see what Sexton and Porter can do before you take Sexton out of the starting line up. If we are talking development, let Sexton get back to himself and see what Porter can do and let DG come off the bench with Clarkson and the bunch IMO. Between Windler, Cedi, KPJ, Nance, Henson, Sexton, Garland, I think you can find some solid combinations. KLOVE should probably go, but you need to bring in 1-2 peeps who have size, understand the Cavs situation, and give a flying rats ass about a rats ass.I agree with you. I would take Sexton out and play Garland and KPJ. One Playmaker (Garland) and you have KPJ who can create is own shot and seems to be a good catch and shooter.
But you were right at one thing, Garland needs to make those floaters to create pressure on the defenders. That's the only way of drawing atention from them and have the chance to kick the ball out for the shooters.

Garland has been our best 3pt shooter
Garland shoots a higher % on threes than Cedi + made moreBased on what?
He's got a lower 3PT% than Nance and Osman and has made fewer threes than Clarkson and Love.
Garland shoots a higher % on threes than Cedi + made more
He has made the same amount of 3's as Love at a higher %
He has made 3 less threes than Clarkson and shot about 6% better
He has made 20 more threes than Nance
So based off that how can you say he is not?
