2020 Cavs Summer Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Many draft websites said, his biggest attribute on defense is the rebounding. That will be a major plus for this team when you already have Love,Drummond, Nance and possibly Tristran on the team.

Defensive Analysis

  • Engaged defender with good instincts. Covers a lot of ground playing with a nice energy, but lacks a degree of length to contest shots. Likes to mix it up on the glass and would benefit from getting stronger.

If,he could give us anything on defense that will be a major plus for this team defensively. He doesn't need to be a lockdown defender like Kawhi,Paul George, Jimmy Butler,Lebron and etc...

Can he atleast be an average to above average defender. He has the size for it...imo

I think,he's going to take Cedi's starting job sometime this season.

I hope he will be good. I'm quietly optimistic because of his smarts, and as you noted the positive opinions, but I'm worried about the strength. It could be the biggest swing factor.

No matter what I think he'll be good cover 2s though at least.

Here's an encouraging article on Windler from the bubble. He says his leg is about 90%. So I guess it's a good thing that next season doesn't start probably till Christmas.

Very curious how he plays with the guards. Bring him in as a 2 to give Collin some of min and let Garland run the bench?

Is there going to be 5 on 5 and will they have footage

As odd as it sounds, I'll bet Delly could make a combo of Windler, Nance, and Love and somebody else look pretty damn good on the offensive end.

#1 lineup last year was

Delly
Sexton
Cedi
Love
Tristan

Not a mistake, and it tells you something about the organization of talent is important for "functional talent". I think the Clippers failing in the playoffs was a great example of this. Jokic organized his talent better.

It's a reason I am still seriously thinking Halibur tonight be our best choice draft night.

Hali
Sexton
Cedi or Winsler if he is that good
Love
Drummond

Would be a more athletic and talented version of our best lineup.
