It’s a little known fact that Kuzma’s name backwards is Amzuk.

As many of our Indian posters know, Amzuk is an artisanal clothing label embodying the spirit of refined craftmanship and Indian textile traditions. A celebration of slow fashion, decidedly delicate shapes and subdued details. The brand was born out of a desire to create handcrafted apparel that occupies a space between daywear and loungewear, crafted solely using natural textiles to make pieces you will desire and cherish.

Founded in 2019, together with a team of artisans and designers placed between Bengal; the home turf of the celebrated mulmul and their namesake of sorts, Lucknow and New Delhi. Tasked with a simple vision to create one of a kind handloom pieces that mirror the exuberance of Indian crafts with an old-world charm.

The ethos of the brand is in taking age-old crafts and motifs out of their predicted artisanal contexts and giving them a new spin to create elevated designs.
So many bong rips.

You’re absolutely right. No NBA player can ever play 40 minutes in a game, or else his legs will fall off within the next week. Happens every time.

The proper move with Garland is to wrap him from head to toe in bubble wrap, then sit him on the bench for every game, never allowing him to play even a minute. That way, he’ll never get hurt, and he’ll still be able to sit on the Cavs’ bench when he is 40.
You damn right. That bubble wrap better be anti-static premium Duck Brand too.

I've been watching those youtube highlight videos of DG. His passing is amazing. With the exception of Lauri, we don't have any spacers that scare defenders. So when he drives to the basket, most of his passing windows close quickly and passing lanes get razor thin. He still fits the ball into them like they are open. Sometimes he will no-look them too.

When the team develops better spacing [getting a SG that can shoot, Mobley fully develops his three point shot, and JA develops a mid-range game], the PG in his DG the PG nickname is going to stand for Point God.

I sure enjoyed his "legacy without 'Bron" soundbite, but now I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. You gotta think 'Bron has a chirp or two up his sleeve.

Pluto has a column today comparing DG to Kyrie in their third years, both at the same age. I looked up the numbers.

Mins/game: KI 35.2 DG 34.7
Pts/game: KI 20.8 DG 21.8
Shooting percentage: KI 43.0 DG 46.8
3-point percentage: KI 35.8 DG 37.1
Assists: KI 6.1 DG 7.4
Rebounds: KI 3.6 DG 3.3
Turnovers: KI 2.7 DG 3.3

So there it is, Garland is ahead of Kyrie at the same point in their careers at everything except rebounds and turnovers. Rebounds are the least important thing for a point guard and the difference is negligible; only one rebound every three games. Garland could stand to reduce his turnovers a bit but he's not much worse than Kyrie. The main thing is he's dishing out more assists while also hitting a higher percentage of his shots from both behind and in front of the arc.

I don't know how they compare defensively but I can't recall KI being nominated for any All-Defensive teams.

To top it off, Darius been vaccinated and AFAIK he's not disputing the scientific consensus on the shape of the planet. And I doubt he'll ever demand to be traded from an NBA Finals contender because he wants to be the "face of the franchise".

There are probably some folks who discount the actual numbers in favor of "style points" for Kyrie. "Best ballhandler in the NBA", "Best Finisher", etc.. But style points don't win games. Very, very glad we have DG,

It's not like DG's lacking in style...

He certainly isn't John Stockton.

Even the turnovers, the assist to turnover ratio is nearly identical. 2.24 for Darius and 2.25 for Kyrie.

It's a little eerie

Nah I don’t think so, especially because if you see the clip in context, Garland didn’t mean it like a diss in any way. There’s nothing for LeBron to respond to.
