2022 Game #4 l #3 Ohio State vs. Wisconsin | September 24th, 2022 @ 7:30 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Stroud to me is a much, much better QB prospect than Fields was.

The rhythm is something Fields doesn't possess. He gets through his reads quickly.

He'll make it and be good at the next level.
I’m torn a bit on CJ as a pro prospect.

His arm is fine, but I think it’s a few notches below Fields.

Fields in a competent NFL offense would be good.

Fields has a big arm. Fields is a great athlete.

And he can't get through reads at all.

His last year at OSU you saw him taking a lot of hits and many of them because he hung onto the ball way too long, locking in on a WR.

Would much, much rather have a lesser arm if I get a guy who sees the field and processes the info.

I got pretty down on Fields as a pro late in year 2 and I haven't seen any evidence I was wrong to do that yet.

Everyone will blame Chicago but the warning sings were there.

His last year at OSU was covid year when everything was wonky. He almost didn’t have a season.

In his one full seasons he didn’t have near the wr corp that Stroud has. He had soph Olave and frosh Wilson.

I feel like if his 4th best weapons was someone as good as Fleming, he’d be better at progressions too.

I’ve questioned this before, but is it a Fields thing or an OSU thing? When you have multiple NFL WR, you don’t have to make a ton of reads. Someone’s probably wide open immediately.

I think PSU and UM are the only teams that can challenge OSU defensively. PSU might be the toughest test as I think they might have a top 5-10 secondary in the country.
