#19: Cameron Erving, C/G, Florida State

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah, the 2015 draft class started to look like a dog pretty quickly. David Johnson and Jay Ajayi ended up being damn good backs. I remember I was starting a Browns blog and was excited for Shelton and then with every pick and every transaction afterwards, my love for the franchise got chipped away.

I wonder if we can use that 5th rounder for Jermaine Kearse. It looks like Seattle is trying to trade him. I don't like the WR depth we have.

Thank God

Good riddance you fucking fraud

Hope the Chiefs fans don't expect to clean his fingernails

I'd rather have Inman from SD, kearse isn't good.

The worst offensive lineman I have ever seen. He gave us man great GIFs in his short time here. Thank you for that, Cam.

You must not have watched the Browns' during the '99 season when we were forced to watch Scott Rehberg repeatedly do his best imitation of a dying stork attempting to block a charging rhino play after play after play.

Never forget Steve Zahursky, starting left tackle who won the job in an open tryout for the community. Hey, he played tight end in high school in Euclid, he's probably ready for Micheal Strahan...

Seems like a genuine nice guy, just a bad nfl player... hopefully the change of scenery helps him out as a player...
He really does. Still remember a story from last year where he took a girl from Elyria with developmental disabilities to her senior prom. I have a brother with disabilities (not to the extent of the girl Erving took to prom, but challenges nonetheless) so that story really touched my heart and hit close to home. It's unfortunate that things didn't work out here because of his play, but that story was a reminder that an athlete should be defined by more than just what they do on the field.

I'm really impressed with this front office.

The fact that we we got a 5th round pick for Cam Erving blows my mind.

Some other first round guard from 2015 was traded from Detroit to SF for a 5th rounder.

Not a good lineman class.

Surprisingly there's not a ton of obvious stars taken in 2015 after Cam Erving between 20 and say 40, but we definitely could have used Bud Dupree(22), Byron Jones(27), or Landon Collins(33)

There were posters in here hating on Dupree when the steelers drafted him. True he hasn't done much for them, but would have been a better guy to draft than Erving. Though DE Shane Ray or WR Phillip Dorsett look much better right now than Erving as well. It is good we moved on from him though since we needed to.

uhh ok? Dupree would have been a bust as well. Just because he is better than arguably the worst lineman we have had in a decade doesn't mean he's worth shit
