Dear God... The Canton McKinnley Bull Dog is bleeding...

Any chance it's fatal? If it is, does he come off the cap?

Ilgauskas with 10 FTs... that's something we should have seen more in the regular season.

30-39 FTs as a team. Attack the basket, giving the ball to the big men at the post results a foul troubling, no answer from the bench, depleted Washington Wizards team.

as well as more of Z actually seeing the floor in the 4th

he has scored 10 in the 4th

Thompson needs to shut the eff up. Most annoying announcer i have ever heard. He made this game a lot less enjoyable for me. I'm sure Wiz fans loved him though.

Yeah, that has got to be the most praise that I have heard for a team that has lost by 15 points. "Oh the Wizards got to feel confident after this game." "Antonio Daniels did a great job pacing this game." "The Wizards got to feel great about this and will feel REALLY great when they get back to Washington."
I don't think these announcers have watched a single Cavs game all year or they'd know that MB loves the half court game, that this team sucks when it rushes shots in the half court, and this team has never ever played full court pressure.

I couldn't take TNT's announcing after the 1st quarter. Even with FSN's crappy Camera crew, listening to our homer announce team was far more enjoyable for me then listening to Thompson's boring coaching philosophies.

i thought bill walton was anoying but thompson really is give me hubbie brown

For a guy who has been shooting 48% from the field and 80% from the FT line, you can't go wrong by not giving this guy the ball. Z also did a good job by passing the ball quickly when he was about to be double-teamed (exclude that behind the back pass)

Hughes really had a great game today.

I'd like to see more of Z, Gooden (when he is in the game), and Lebron posting up in the playoffs. But make sure Snow and Newble are not on the court at the same time.

Thompson is terrible.

Wasn't pretty but Cavs eventually took care of business. Hopefully it's kind of a wake up call to come out stronger and put this Wizards team away.

Offense took a while to look more effective and not just rely on jacking up jumpers.
It was also nice to see the Cavs finally remember in the 4th that they have a 7-3 C with offensive ability after Z was basically ignored for 3 quarters.

Nice game from Hughes. He kept the Cavs going even with a few questionable shots.

Cavs have to find a way to control Jamison. I don't think it can be done with mostly Cavs PF's. Jamison has more of a SF's game. Control Jamison better and it should lead to a sweep.

Pretty solid game by everyone. Hughes was great, probably player of the game. The announcers made it sound like LeBron didn't show up, but I thought he played really well. He could have been more aggressive scoring, but he picked his spots well, set up his teammates, played defense, scored efficiently, and rebounded. Z was great as well.

I was wondering if I was the only one being driven crazy by Thompson. I have NEVER heard such blatant homering from someone supposed to be impartial. He actually said 'Thank goodness it went in' after a made 3 pointer by the Wizards in the middle of the third quarter. And how the Wiz are supposedly 'full of confidence now' after losing by double digits is beyond me. He talked about talking just about every member of the Wizards coaching staff as the game wore on- oddly he never took the time to talk to the Cavs coaching staff. Apparently we were supposed to win each quarter by 20 or the Cavs were giving the Wizards hope and not playing well enough. What garbage- it too somewhat ruined the game for me as I had no choice in Columbus what channel to watch the game.

Thompson also somewhat ruined the game for me. He actually said 'thank goodness it went in' after a made 3 pointer for the Wizards in the third. Had a story for every member of the Wizards coaching staff that he's buddies with, but he apparently never spoke the Cavs coaches. Talked about all this confidence the Cavs gave the Wiz by 'only' winning by 15. It was as if Austin Carr was announcing the game but reversed on national TV no less. Absolute joke, TNT.

I stuck with TNT only because it was in HD... but Thompson was truly unbearable. He was on us after the first quarter when we had a 7 point lead. Did he expect us to be up by 30 at that point? I was truly shocked that FSN Ohio didn't have this one in HD. Very disappointing.

Overall, we took care of business. Obviously it wasn't pretty but we did what we had to do to get the win. I'm hoping for a better performance in Game 2 from the start just to put this team out of it's misery quickly. Hopefully LBJ's ankle doesn't stiffen up too much.
