1st Round: Washington @ Cleveland GAME 2

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
When Drew has outscored Larry, Lebron and Sasha combined, he is having a career night mixed in with some poor scoring from our backcourt trio.

Jamison is doing his thing, but we can live with that. Its restricting the others (the bench tonight) that is the key.

Poor effort overall, but we hold the lead. That shows we are a class above.

We should be thankful for Drew Gooden. Without his 1st half the Cavs are facing a deficit that they shouldn't be facing. Gooden's output follows last year's playoff pattern where one other player besides the usual big guns steps up and has a big game.

Hopefully the Cavs pick it up in the 2nd half. Lebron's effort came and went in the 1st half. He needs to play more aggressively. Z and Gooden were solid inside.
Cavs need to come out early in the 3rd and stomp on the Wiz rather than let them hang around for too long.

lebron gave him the green light....pathetic.

drew with teh rebound and put back, niiiiice

This game has gotten a little too close for comfort. Hopefully this "wasted" effort from the Wizards will deflate them for the remainder of the series.

Agreed Karma. They played hard only to come up short. The spirit was willing, but the shot selection was weak.

I look for them to take 1 game still though for pride's sake, even though they know they can't win the series, game 3 seems most likely.

39 points for the Wiz in the 4th ???

I'm glad this game was on in Columbus....WTF!

Anyways, the cavs got it done so I'm happy.

My favorite Scott Williams quotes of the night:

1. "He opened the popcorn maker and popped his corn."
2. "What a greasy move, like chicken and bisquits."

I still can't believe he said the first one. Get AC in here.

Oh yeah, Wild Thing, you make my heart sing. AV is the man.

Yeah, I'm in Columbus also. Just notch this one up with the multiple times that the retards running Time Warner here in Columbus have found to screw a Cavs broadcast up. Seriously... I don't understand how a company can be so incompetent. There were 2 other channels that showed the game (NBA TV, and INHD, the Mark Cuban Channel) but thanks to the gay blackout rules, we couldn't watch it on those channels either. Thanks NBA and Time Warner, 3 separate channels and none of them worked.

They got the win but it got too close for comfort. Cavs have to put the Wizards away. Without Arenas and Butler, Wash. is a lottery level team.

Nice games up front for Gooden and Z. LeBron came up big in the 4th but the effort didn't seem to be there in the 1st half. He also missed quite a few blockouts and defensive rotations. Hughes solid once again.

The lack of scoring from the bench is a little bit of a concern. Some points will be needed from there as the playoffs go on.

Cavs are going to have to pick it up for game 3 with the Wizards playing at home. Letting them hang around won't work on the road.

They just need to be more focused. We keep looking like we're about to get separation from Washington and they go on a little run while we get too relaxed.

Hopefully Lebron gets aggressive and tries to put more points on the board in Washington. He's been deferring a lot and his teammates have it going now. I think it's time for him to start taking over.

Effort not being there in playoff games is a very disturbing thought.

how can we expect scoring from the bench when AV/snow play 42 minutes combined and Marshall/Gibson play 10 combined
