He will. You can cross Watkins,Nevill,Kurz,and Robison off the list. You can count Jawad for sure. It comes down to who will get it between Coby and Barrett.

Nope. I don't think he will. Karl brings too much to the table on both sides of the ball, and he can score from anywhere.

I will say that if Coby doesn't make the team (I believe he will), then I think you are right... Jawad makes it over Kurz.

Doesn't matter. In an emergency, I'd take Coby over Jawad. And if all he needs to do is cheer for the rest of the team, I think he'll do it with a smile. But if needed, I take him over Jawad.

If camp ended today, Jawad and Coby Karl would make the team(IMO).
When camp ends, Jawad will make the team and Karl will probably make the team.

Jawad is well-liked by his teammates, Mike Bronw loves the way he practices, and he has a good chemistry/relationship with the team already. He's not going to get cut.

Coby has played better than Barret(although they're both terrible, IMO, Coby is especially bad defensively), but Coby's length and work ethic will get him the spot.

I agree that Jawad and Coby look like the frontrunners right now. I think it's clear with the minutes MB has been giving them. Barrett has been getting minutes too, but probably just beacause we need a PG out there to run the team. I wouldn't mind a pure point on the end of the bench though.

it's a lot like the regular season. By the 4th quarter, the starters are all on the bench resting and the only drama left is if the bench can keep the lead above 20 points or not.

I'm torn. I don't really think Jawad will make the team. Kobe and Andre might be what we really need on the end of the bench. I like Karl's toughness and he seems to know what's up on the court.

I disagree with this assessment.

Lots of people are liked... but we aren't trying to win the "good neighbor" championship, we want an NBA championship.

Karl brings more than Jawad, and Barrett is a LOT, LOT, LOT better than you give him credit for. I wonder if you have ever even watched him play????? He is the best ball handler on the team right now... BAR NONE!!! He is also damn near automatic from inside 15. He is also the 2nd best passer on the team behind LeBron.

Jawad may be liked for practice, but what is really going to set it in stone, is the fact that the Cavs will likely be making a move later this year that will require that they have other ball-handlers already on the team. Jawad doesn't even handle the ball as well as my 16 yr old son!!!
