Posted in the other thread due to unawareness of this thread.
Weeden looked great. My main word is comfortable. He just didn't look that last year. I am beyond bummed now that Gordon is out two games. Benjamin looked so damn fast. Defense a work in progress, but looking pretty close to as advertised.
Team just looks different and feels different. You can tell by the energy and mood. Very, very, very excited for this season!

Mingo is going to surprise people who haven't seen him with his speed and athleticism. He had a tendency at LSU to go so hard at the QB that he opened up lanes for the QB to escape. Alot of times Mingo could make up ground vs college players. Very frustrating seeing this time and time again in Death Valley. Hopefully his position coaches here are instilling in him to rush with control. If he makes that adjustment, look out

-OL looked pretty solid, as a whole. JP62 seemed to get more situated as his PT increased (or as the opposing DL got deeper on the depth chart). That rookie ginger OG Gillkey jumped out at me at the end of the game, as I was fighting off sleep. I bought the NFL preseason live app for $15, so I'll watch him again.
-Defense looked aggressive, yet not out-of-control like the Rob Ryan years. Backup DBs are a bit of a concern.
-Mingo's motor is awesome, and he looks like an elite athlete on the edge; however, I didn't see too much in the way of different pass rush moves besides 'be fast as fuck Mingo'. I can see how effective he'll be in a 3rd down role, especially if he goes to Kruger's spot and Kruger slides inside. Imagine getting punched in the face by a physical 280# Kruger for 1st & 2nd downs, then a gazelle like Mingo comes in on 3rd down!
-Great to get a win, and see a team play hard....I won't lie, it's tough to keep the optimism bottled up!
