Browns are really missing Bess right now on offense.

Little and Gordon are definitely capable of getting down the field, but now the underneath attack isn't there as a threat so much more pressure is being applied to them right now against a solid secondary.

In other news, looks like the team has found their kicker.

Even without Sheard, Mingo and Bryant, we got good pressure, whether we blitzed or not. However, Luck is both good and mobile. We figured that the pass rush would be strength and secondary, outside of Haden, would struggle. Today did nothing to dissuade that. We'll struggle against a team like GB (many options), but we'll thrive against a team like Cincy (reliant on 1 guy).

Trent is looking real good. We tried to run an outside stretch play all last year, and never could. We ran a beautiful one for a nice gain tonight. I don't know if it's coach or growth by Trent, but he's going to have a big year.

I'm not too concerned about the D. Sure we're thin at CB2, but you have to remember Owens was out along with about half our line. Also Luck was just really fucking good tonight, a lot of those throws couldn't have been stopped no matter who was playing D out there, picture perfect placement on a lot of them.
