Love when sweeping generalizations are made after one game, especially in the win or go home format. The Harrison twins, and Kentucky, just spent two years coming up huge in clutch situations, but lose one game, and that all goes out the window.

It was poor execution by Kentucky. I don't see that happening by Tyus Jones or Quinn Cook. Jones has been huge in the later portions of games this year. He knows how to play with Okafor. I trust them (and Coach K) more in tight situations than Kentucky - that's what it comes down to for me.

Judging by your profile pic, there's no way you're biased.

Comparisons of the two aside, I'm pulling for Wisconsin (I have no horse in this race) since it would be a better story. Sadly, I think Duke wins. Seems like Duke has made it a habit of ruining cool stories lately (case in point: beating Butler in the national title game 5 years ago).

Let's just say Duke is my favorite basketball team outside of the Cavs and I hate Wisconsin more than UNC, the Heat, Notre Dame, and the Clippers combined.

WARNING: NSFW

Apparently, one of the Harrison's wasn't too fond of Frank Kaminsky

View: https://vine.co/v/OlI31MEqtXP

Wisconsin would be burning if Kaminsky got caught on a hot mike uttering something about Harrison. There would be non-stop coverage, demands for him to be suspended or expelled, protestors would be marching through the campus led by The Reverand and Al. :chuckle:

All that is true. Still, I don't think Andrew Harrison should be punished disproportionately because there is a clear double standard. These are just kids and it's an emotional game. Not a big deal, IMO.

Besides, if I were Frank Kaminsky I would take it as a sign of respect that a black opponent dropped an n-bomb on me. :chuckle:

They aren't kids, they're men and should be held to such a standard, but I agree with everything else. Especially the last part.

Has any white man in history called a black man a cracka?

What would happen if they did?

any chance we can get a congressional investigation into the final 3 minutes of this game?

refs just missed a duke player step out of bounds, and fuck up a review which would have given Wisconsin the ball. missed calls lead to 5 duke points........

am i going to have to be the asshole that starts a website devoted to the absolute and total inability for refs/officials to actually call games correctly.

seriously you reviewed the fucking play how do you still get it wrong

The NCAA really needs to overhaul the officiating.

The missed call on the tipped ball was criminal. The side of the foot out of bounds I can live with, especially because I thought Hayes bumped Winslow prior to that to force him out. But that was clear as day on the tip off Winslow.

With that said Duke made a lot of plays down the stretch and Wisconsin really got bottled up at the end of the game. Duke's athleticism really took over on defense I felt.
