2015 NCAA March Madness

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Happy with that. I despise everything Notre Dame.

ND gives one away. Too much iso in the last 2 minutes and let Towns get easy buckets all night.

I'm a MSU win away from being a virtual lock to win my pool and a good bit of money. Anyone else winning their pool?
I got MSU in the Final Four too. And Duke. Just wish I would have been in a pool where money was involved.

That's the closest game Kentucky will play. They'll run train on Wisconsin and any of the teams on the other side of the bracket. Won't be watching the rest of this shit.

Kentucky are basically the Alabama and Alabama fans of college bball...won't ever root for them. Ever.

I agree with the comparison, but meh. I was ecstatic when Alabama fucking obliterated Notre Dame in the Championship a couple years ago. I just cannot stand Notre Dame whatsoever. I could only root for them if it somehow benefited Ohio State. Or if they were facing Michigan in a Championship game. No championships for Michigan.

I just never got on the Notre Dame hate wagon. Dunno where it came from. Maybe because I've almost never interacted with an ND fan.

My Facebook is full of Alabama and Kentucky bandwagon fucks. This one chick had me rolling. Went to HS with her and she is an Ohio State fan just like everyone else in Ohio, but also an Alabama fan...CUZ. So, they face OSU in the Sugar Bowl this year and she's torn on who to root for, and ends up rooting for Alabama because- obviously- they were favored to win. LOL. Know how that turned out.

/end Pyro-esque rant

Think: ignorance of a Alabama fan, plus the arrogance of a Michigan fan

Lol at the Irish hate. That coach, team and many of the fans are classy. There's so many fans across the country that of course they'll have their share of d-bags (as do Kentucky, Alabama, Michigan and every other school - yes very much including OSU). What an unexpectedly great season for the Irish. As an ND alum who is neither ignorant nor arrogant, I'm damn proud of that team. They blew it in the end, but put up a heck of a fight. Gonna miss Grant and Connaughton.

Such a ignorant and arrogant post........:chuckle:

MY ND hate comes from the favorable treatment they got in college football for years. Basketball really couldn't care less.

Brey seems like a great guy. I don't watch much ND basketball, but the thing I love about his coaching style having watched the last few weeks is that he is very even keeled. Have seen multiple instances where something negative occurred and going into the timeout he's told his guys "we're good, we're good." Good approach to take when you're dealing with the combustible emotions of 18 to 22 year olds :chuckle:

Brey is a very good coach and a superb human being. So glad he finally ended his streak of subpar tournament runs. They outplayed UK tonight until they failed to execute the last minute or two.

I think Grant tried to play hero ball too much the last few possessions. They were in the game because of superior ball movement. Of course, hindsight is 20/20 and UK's defense was a primary factor in forcing ISOs down the stretch.

Yep - went away from what worked best for them all game. But I can't be too upset. Crunch time against the best team in the country. Don't blame our best player for trying to win it. Even if I think he could've still done so by setting up someone else instead.
