2017 Browns Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So for whatever reason there's a conversation on Browns Twitter right now with a contingency of fans arguing to take the non-QB BPA at #1 and wait on the QB until #4.

I don't know where this discussion originated from.

I just have one question...who are these fuck heads? Seriously? I've lost more patience with idiotic Browns fans than I have with the idiotic Browns.

I just can't fathom how people can be so damn stupid.
I have a buddy (Bills fan) that is saying Browns shouldn't draft a QB at 1 or 4, because "this class isn't strong". LOL

He wants them to sign McCarron or Bradford/Bridgewater and just keep building the team.

I'm trying to tell him that now isn't a time to get cute, get the QB and hopefully not pick in the top 10 for another decade, he just doesn't see that rationale, then again he is a Bills fan. :chuckle:

Let me guess, they want Barkley?

Let me guess, they want Barkley?

I didn't get far back enough in the debate to tell but I assume so.

The best is this idea that a QB is worth #4...but not #1.

Risk not getting your franchise QB so you can take a damn RB first overall. Some people should have their internet "write access" rescinded.

Damn, that Jaguars receiving group isn't just good at the top, they are deep too. I'm not getting my hopes up for Robinson, but they also have Keelan Cole, Dede Westbrook, and Hurns isn't chopped liver. I feel like Marquise Lee should be a target if they transition/franchise tag Robinson. Somebody ain't coming back.

It’ll be crowded once we get OBJ and Dez

Has there been any discussion about how bad Gregg Williams was as our DC last year?

Bad schemes, inefficient blitz packages, players out of position...Hue's ineptness overshadowed his.

Not enough discussion.

Not enough discussion.

Yeah, what happened this year with his defense? I thought bringing him in was a decent move. He's had good defenses before, but he gets to Cleveland and just changes his whole scheme.

Reuben Foster, the 49ers’ inside linebacker, was booked Sunday at the Santa Clara County Jail on charges relating to domestic violence, according to a person with knowledge of the incident.

Foster, 23, was arrested in Los Gatos and is currently being held without bail, according to the jail booking records.

The Los Gatos Police Department did not respond to calls for comment.

This is Foster’s second arrest within a month. He was taken into custody on Jan. 12 in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for second-degree marijuana possession, which is a Class A misdemeanor in the state meaning it’s for personal use.

In 2017, he failed a drug test at the NFL combine for submitting a diluted sample. He was kicked out of the NFL combine in early March after an altercation with a hospital employee.

Reuben Foster is a very talented player, but two arrests in his first offseason is beyond a bad look.

Not great, but explains a lot with his fall in the draft.

Immensely talented, but he should most certainly be facing a suspension.

I tried telling you guys all year, Foster may be talented but we made the right call passing on him, just like I said the whole time!!
