We have Nioh (PS4) Nier Automata, The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild (Wii-U/Switch), These are games I played and Blaster Master Zero gets a fucking HM.

Then you have Horizon Zero Dawn. ME, A(bad facial animations) and now Persona 5... This is just the start of the year. Gaming is on the rise again and glad to see so. Even the 3DS is getting love. I think this is the year real gaming becomes big and I hope it sticks.

What games do you look forward to? For me it is Mario Oddesy all the way.

Legend of Zelda was fantastic. Mario Oddesy looks like a blast. Im tempted to pull the trigger on the Switch.

For me, their are core franchises I play on PS4. All of them have something launching in 2017.

Red Dead Redemption 2
NBA 2k18
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Destiny 2

All will be fantastic grinds with each earning 75+ hours IMO. If there was ever a time for me to jump into streaming...itd be this fall.

Red Dead Redemption 2 and Shadow of War are the only ones on my list, really. Maybe Destiny 2, didn't play the first one since it was so lukewarmly received when it launched.

But I have several games I still need to beat right now anyways so, that's plenty for me.

Supposedly Hollow Knight is one of the best games of the year as well. I plan to purchase that eventually. And Tim Schaffer's new adventure game Thimbleweed Park just released as well. That's another on my list. Night in the Woods has been getting rave reviews too.

I also really want to check out PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. That game has taken off on Steam and it seems like a cool style of multiplayer game.

So many games. So little time.

I hear Hollow Knight is coming for the Switch so I am excited because I love indie games on the go. As well all the games you mentioned this is an insane year will kill peoples wallets if they are hardcore gamers. I usually have two hours maybe three set a side a night before sleep and like you said so little time in my case as a RPG fan two hours split with three games is tough.

If you play indie games, basically every year is like this. There are always a dozen fantastic indie titles out there.

I mean, in 2016 we got The Witness, Firewatch, INSIDE, Stardew Valley, Darkest Dungeon, Banner Saga 2, Hyper Light Drifter, ABZU, and Oxenfree. I've played every game on that list but one (Hyper Light Drifter, which I own but haven't gotten to yet), and they are all good to great. And I'm probably forgetting some, as I just typed "best games of 2016" into google and picked out the indie titles.

I know that Stardew Valley I had to stop because it became so addicting. Darkest Dungeon pissed me off and ABZU was a great time. I need to get into Banner Saga 1 and 2 and I hate myself for not doing so yet. I used to be a indie game nerd but now I got out of it a little bit,

To add to some I played, Electronic Fun Joy is great. Among others is VVVVVV, Terraria (is one of my favorite games of all time), Bastion/Transistor, Rouge Legacy,Thumper, and Shovel Knight ect. I forgot Journey and Flower and just so many to name.

ABZU is probably the best game to play high ever made.

The Last of Us 2

Now if that just isn't the bee's knees then I don't know what is!!!
