2017 NCAA March Madness

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So....who had Rhode Island this far in the tournament?

I can't stand college basketball.

The missed Free Throws and stupid mistakes drive me insane.

I'm with ya

Even the "good" games in this tournament so far have had just incredibly stupid endings

I very rarely watch college basketball, but every time I do I'm struck by the fact that the photo finish games are often so good because guys make stupid mistakes towards the end of games rather than guys just making clutch shot after clutch shot or guys making big stops.

Either that or a bunch of passing around on the perimeter and chucking threes.

I don't know why I picked UCLA and Duke for my final. Couple of soft teams.

Hahahaha poor Duke, I didn't even know South Carolina basketball existed.

The officiating in this tournament has been embarrassing. Especially in crunch time when one or two possessions decides a game. Seton Hall got completely fucked on Friday. Northwestern did on Saturday. URI had some really bad calls go against them yesterday (Somehow it's always the little guy/underdog on the losing end of these poor calls).

On paper this tournament looked really good this year, but it's been one of my least favorites in recent memory. Lack of upsets and buzzer beaters, predictable finishes, poor quality of play, awful officiating, no Cinderella to root for (unless you count Xavier). I doubt I'll really pay much attention the rest of the way.

I didn't even know they were suppose to be good this year. Same with Rhode Island lol.

Really? They were big news a few years ago when Kansas State's coach, the one who coached Beasley, got them to the Elite 8, and looks like a psycho when he is mad, just randomly left for South Carolina for some reason.

Won 25 games last year too...dude can coach.

Only thing holding them back all year has been their inability to score, and in the first two rounds they've put together some nice performances. Thornwell is one of those 4 year players that can put a team on his back.

I had Duke advancing, but that South Carolina match up made me nervous right from the start.

Rhode Island has actually been on the radar as a rising mid major with alot of talented upperclassmen. They were 22-9 two years ago and were a bubble team that lost early in their conference tournament, so they ended up in the NIT. They were supposed to be a tournament team last year but lost their best player the first game of the season to an ACL injury, had some other players with injury/suspension issues, and underachieved. This year they were ranked in the top 25 to start the season, but then had some injury issues early in the season and lost a couple bad games to fall off the radar. Then once they had their full compliment of players they turned it on late in the year and made this run. I had them in the Sweet 16 in my bracket. They probably should be in the Sweet 16 playing against Michigan as two of the hottest teams in the country.

College basketball is terrible, and if you disagree, watch that WV/Gonzaga finish.

That man had the nerve to pass the fucking ball the very last second after his shit.
