I insult my friends all the time, its ok, lol...I was just pointing out the Lakers are very, very popular and it reaches far beyond LA. Yes, if they get good suddenly there are twice the Laker fans, so for sure I know the type, but Lakers are THE # 1 draw in the NBA, especially when good.
They are also big worldwide. The Lakers are extremely popular in the Philippines.

So the Nets got Kyrie, and 65 percent of the original KD.....that team aint ever winning a thing. Lots of dominoes falling, but the big one could take a while. If Kawhi meets with all these teams, that will take a few days. Lopez a Buck, Middleton a Buck, Brogdon a Pacer. Kawhi is the one to alter the Nba landscape. His decision sways the balance so many different ways.

Griffin snags JJ Redick for New Orleans at $12 million a year...not a bad move given some of the other contracts being handed out. Griffin is looking really great for NO so far.

They are putting down a giant gamble on getting 85% of the original KD. You could imagine a less athletic KD looking like Dirk Nowitzki, which is pretty good.

So now the warriors are replacing him with...D'Angelo Russell?

Wow, Horford to the Sixers! Butler to the Heat!

Are the Sixers better swapping Butler for Horford?

Edit: Sixers apparently got Josh Richardson in the trade, who if you squint hard can look like a poor man's Jimmy Butler without the locker room issues. So that's something for them. Plus they are keeping Tobias Harris who will space the floor well. Horford Embiid Harris Richardson Simmons is a starting lineup that keeps them very near the top in the East I would think...they lack some depth now though.

Yeah, i guess so. It sounds great for them now. I just dont see that combo ever amounting to much.

And there is a good chance KD won't make it back to 85%. Hard to tell, such a devastating injury but KD is so good.

Pretty wide open now, both conferences. What Kawhi does is the last major domino. I almost hope he goes to the Clips just so they can pound GS on the regular.

So the nets trade D'Angelo Russell to the Warriors... Wtf
