Anyone else like what the Jazz are doing? Sucks that their ungrateful fans are mostly racist morons, but the team itself is making quality moves. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in WCF this year.

I definitely do. They and the Pacers jumped a few slots in my eyes this offseason.

If Kawhi stays East, I think the Jazz are the best team in the West

When is the Anthony Davis Lakers press conference introduction thing?

Watched a bit of the Knicks/Suns summer league game. Barrett looks absolutely awful. It'snot as much that his shots aren't falling...it's that he just has no floor game motor.

Presumably, he'll get better....

So far, he gives me a Harrison Barnes vibe...

haven't been able to watch many games as I am on the west coast and have to do this work thing. What is going on with him and these monster stat lines. Is he just totally dominating the ball? His touch around the basket seems to suck

No one is going to say anything about the Paul-Westbrook trade?

Now Houston is apparently going for Iggy too...still think the Clips are the Western favorite but Houston coming on strong.

Who would they trade for Iggy? Eric Gordon?

I think Westbrook and Harden will at least be interesting. I think we saw the ceiling with CP3 and Harden.

Maybe we will see CP3 and Butler in Miami too.

What's the running joke....they'll need to play with two basketballs with both of them on the court!

I'd like to see it work out as the end of the West all-stars and creating a lot more very good teams will only make the league have better parity. I want to see 3-4 or more great teams in each conference and not 1-2 at most.

I think harden and Westbrook will be better than Harden and Paul.. but they need a third guy to make it work, and they haven't the assets to get there..

In the West I think Houston, the Clippers, the Lakers, the Nuggets, and the Jazz will all be tremendous this year, with the Clippers as the favorites. And can't sleep on Portland (beat the Nuggets last year but I think Denver got a step better with Jerami Grant), the Warriors, and the Spurs either. Such a deep conference. It will be an achievement just to make the playoffs.

In the East Milwaukee and Philly look to be the only teams truly competitive with the top of the West, but Toronto, Indiana, and Boston will be very good too. Not sure if any of those last three teams even make the playoffs in the West though!
