2019-20 Cavaliers Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They have called up Wade for today. I feel like he is the better player right now, but he and Cook give us some options during the love transition

We’ll now have 4 guys on the roster who can’t shoot outside of 10 feet. Why?

I wouldn't be surprised if Koby converted Cook's contract so it can be tradable at the deadline. I'm not sure the rules on how quick you can trade a two way player after they convert his contract.

It will be interesting to see if Cook get playing time over Mckinnie.

Kind of crazy that it took so long but it's nice to see that the coaching staff have realized how much better Sexton and Cedi are at catch and shoot 3s vs off the dribble. I think it moves the offense in the right direction and hopefully will help the young guys develop their passing.

Tristan Thompson (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Wolves.
With Kevin Love (rest) and Larry Nance (knee) already ruled out, the Cavs could be in for a long day if Thompson also sits. John Henson, Alfonzo McKinnie, Ante Zizic and Kevin Porter Jr. would all see a big boost in minutes if Thompson can't go.

Dante Exum (illness) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.
This is extremely unfortunate with Exum coming off a 28-point game, but at least it's just an illness and not an injury. Matthew Dellavedova and Brandon Knight will divvy up Exum's minutes, but that doesn't mean much in fantasy hoops.

They say everyone in the locker room is getting the flu. I was worried seeing this before i read it

The clock expired as Kevin Love started making his way onto the court. He immediately found rookie Darius Garland, gave him a big hug, chest pound and pat on the head.
Then Love shared a message with the rising rookie.
“Just told him I was really proud of him,” Love said to cleveland.com following the Cleveland Cavaliers’ improbable 111-103 win against the Denver Nuggets. “He’s just been getting better in those moments. He really has a chance to be a special player. Tonight he showed that.”

I think Love gets very emotional one way or the other when he plays teams that he could potentially get traded to. My theory breaks down because of his outburst in the OKC game but he might think Gallinari is potential someone that teams interested in him would look at and wanted to show out against him.

I think Denver is a team that has been rumored to be interest in Love for the last two seasons.

I believe Kevin is simply still looking to win. He's always been very expressive and an open book as far as his emotions win or loose. Take a bad L and his chin hangs low. Rightfully so.

I think if his criticism is that they need to take the ball out of Sexton's hands and put it in Garland's than his criticism was right. It's better for the team to get involved.

Yes. The players should be the ones running the team

Better trade Love for a bad contract, late first rounder, and a scrub ASAP!

Everyone is worried about that 3rd year. I mean next year it won't seem so crazy to but 2 extra years of Klove ballin out? Sucks he signed a 4 year deal. Would have been nice if they had gotten 3 or 25 for 4.

Everyone admits KLove is a great player, "just don't want 30M on the books for 3 more years"

Right. But, lets cross that bridge when we come to it! For now, the "trade him for scraps" push seems more knee-jerk than @Damage's anal bleachings before dates with female calve muscle models!!
