2019-20 Cavaliers Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Fun team lately. Also, I like how TT has made a career of killing guys like Aldridge, Horford, Noah, and now Jokic.

He was good at taking away Jokic's passing lanes and he didn't take the shots. That was cool.
I’ll be bummed when TT is no longer a Cav... he feels like a guy that should be one of our’s his entire career.

I was thinking maybe we could package up Garland and Cedi and try to get a better player to fit into our future. I know it's still a bit soon to determine what Garland may become but with Cedi we kind of know what we got. I don't dislike either guy but we should consider every angle.
I'm wondering if the Cavs would consider putting together some kind of package to move up for James Wiseman if they end up drafting third or fourth. Cedi could be involved since they have Windler and Nance is proving he can play SF.

I don't know if the Cavs are interested in signing Drummond long term and with TT hitting free agency they'll need a center, preferably one who can run the floor and shoot from outside like Wiseman. Garland and Cedi are potential trade pieces, especially since once Dre's salary is off the books they can sign whatever player they need to finish off the rotation.

This is not the draft to move up because it’s so weak and most of the top 10 are of similar standard, also we should be drafting wings not a center too imo. Think one of Deni, Toppin or Okoro will end up being our pick

Good for Atkinson getting away from Cupcake and The Complainer. They are going to destroy that locker room.

Call it knee jerk, but Delly looking healthy again changes my plans next year.

KPJ - PG
Sexton - SG
Nance - SF
Love - PF
Drummond - C

Delly - the adult on the court for the young guards. Save him for home games (just for Keys).
Windler - first wing off the bench.
Cedi - depth SG/SF. spot minutes.
Garland - just try to earn mins.
Top rookie pick - we will see

With 18 games left, I'm starting to worry about finishing in the bottom ten. I would hate to give away our first round pck to Atlanta. The Cavs have looked awfully good lately.

Phoenix is 10th with 26 wins, 28 is 11th.

we have 18 games to go, if we go 9-9 we end with 28 wins, it is really almost impossible for us to finish outside of the bottom 10.

Your pick can go a few spots backwards I believe so you want to finish bottom 7 to make sure you keep it, it’s very unlikely but there is a small chance we could overtake wizards and put it at risk

There is no way they are going to put that pick in any jeopardy but looking at the standings every game they win now they will be leapfrogging teams.
I have to believe that we could be seeing some lineups with Wade/Ante and yes Sir Dom getting big minutes.

The rest of the Schedule has lots of winnable games. We thought the Sixers, Heat, and Nuggets were basically no way we win.

I'd hate to see them pump the brakes but passing the Wizards is a possibility if they keep playing this good.
