2019-20 Season Thread

I am hopeful they can win 4 of their last nine. But, the original post that I responded to was on point IMO. Their schedule is not that easy.

For me it is one of those, if we are to have any chance in the tournament we need to win more then 4 of the last 9. I would agree that if we win 4 more we should ge tin thought. I think this team hit a rocky bump with some of the younger players and teams being able to scout us more. I am hopeful we can return to the form that got us up to number 2. We did not get to number 2 because we played a easy schedule, we looked like an elite team for the 1st 3rd of the season.

We have 4 road games left.
@ Wis - I think if we win here we are good, but is a tough place to play
@ Iowa - Tough game but we do have 5 days rest going into it, plus oculd have some momemtiem with back to back home gomes before we head to Iowa
@ Neb - Must win
@ MSU

I think if we can go 2-2 on the road. Finishing 3-2 at home or better we can get better then a 8/9 seed with the wins we had to start the year. If we some how can go 6-3 to finish I could see us flirting with a 5/6 seed.

This team is frustrating to watch. The lead is down to 6 after being up 20 earlier in the half. It isn’t that hard to close out a game.

Not an easy schedule left, but I still think beat Nebraska and one of Illinois/MSU/TTUN/Maryland and we're win. Win 3 of those games somehow and we might looking at 4-5 seed.

I think it's looking like B1G will get 10 in.

MD, PSU, Iowa, TTUN, MSU, Ill and OSU are pretty much locks.

If Wisconsin didn't have such a brutal non-conference, they'd be a lock. If they just beat NW and Minny at home, they're at least 12-8 in the B1G, which is more than enough.

Indiana picked up a huge win over PSU. They close @ Purdue, @ Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin. A split gets them to 10-10 in B1G and in. Even a 1-3 stretch and a win the B1G gets them in, I think.

Rutgers is interesting. Have a nice win over Seton Hall, and sit at 9-8 in B1G with a win over PSU. However, they have 1 road win all year and lost at home to St. Bonnies. They close @ PSU, Maryland and @ Purdue. Most teams I would say 10-10 gets you in. But if they lose to Purdue, then in the first B1G tourney game, that means 1 non home win and it was vs Nebrasketball.

Yes, it was. They have recovered from a terrible 2-6 start in Big Ten play by winning 9 of 11. Much kudos to them.

Well, it looks like OSU will be the 7 seed in the conference tournament. They will have to face Sparty again on Friday if they get past Purdue on Thursday.
