God is this tone deaf. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Rachel Nichols though. Nobody is caring about the NBA’s revenue or whether of not these well off athletes are being paid. Not to mention, nobody gives a damn whether they can quarantine somewhere to finish a meaningless season of basketball.

Absolutely no perspective from these people.
Speak for yourself. I care both about whether we will get an end to this season and the effect this whole thing will have on the salary cap next season. It’s not an either or situation. I can be worried about people’s safety and the country as a whole, while also wondering how it’s going to affect something that I love like the NBA. And Rachel is talking here on the Jump, which is literally a show about the NBA.

I'd like to see how this changes once you see what this virus will unfortunately do. Nothing else should matter at the moment, and the things you love will change.

Yeah, whether or not we get closure on the 19-20 season is inconsequential to me. Basketball will be back eventually. There are far more important things to me right now.

I'd like to see either the reg season canceled and playoffs abbreviated. Best of 3 series with an NBA Final that is Best of 7 series or just do a March Madness Bracket with all the NBA teams and the best of 3 series Final Four and best of 7 Final. I just want to see something happen.

Agree it shouldn't be an either or situation.

I have no problem with calling the regular season, but Milwaukee fans deserve a chance to see a championship playoff run, whenever this calendar year or wherever that can be done.

lol

My personal entertainment means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Cancel all this shit until a vaccine is developed and readily available, for all I care.
All you've done is bitch and puff out your chest about how you haven't cared for the NBA product in years...so enlighten me why your thoughts on these matters should have any relevance?

The Lakers were cruising to a title, and I’m glad that LeBron is being robbed of the opportunity to win it. Here’s hoping he never makes it to the finals again.
As someone in the "I don't hate LeBron because comeback/2016" camp I strongly disagree, not to mention I like Unibrow.

Again, Milwaukee fans who haven't seen a non-Packers pro championship in nearly 50 years - sound familiar? - deserve better than their season to go up in smoke, as well; the Lakers were, as others have noted, certainly not guaranteed to "cruis[e] to a title."

While the GOAT rankings/debates appear to be sort of paused because of Kobe, the troll hot takes about "Bron can't even make the playoffs in the west!11!!11!!" are also going to be unbearable.

Windy bomb, but some clickbait to headline and article. This only really means they are discussing the financials of a contingency plan.
