Clippers just play a way better team game than the Lakers and the over all talent level is heavily tilted toward the Clippers. What is their weakness? They're like bulldogs on defense and may be top 2 or 3 on offense. If PG comes back healthy they're an easy favorite for me to win it all. Never really liked Doc but the dude is a tremendous coach.

Lakers are boring.
Turned the game off before the first half. Cant stand watching LeIso anymore

This x10. His last year or so in Cleveland was so boring to watch. Zero imagination! I know we wont be that good this year but i'd much rather watch this years Cavs team vs Lebron's teams.

It's boring because it's predictable. You watch basketball because you want excitement and unpredictability. My life is too flat and predictable as it is...I rather watch the team and pl;ayers grow than watch Lebron pound the ball and play for himself.

I felt like I was watching the Cavs with a much worse Lebron. I think it's almost settled that Lebron ball follows him anywhere regardless of who his coach his. Kudos to Spoelstra and Riley(???) for instilling a system when Lebron was in his prime.

Wonder how Lebron is going to look in mid season. He looked slow, but I never count out Lebron...he might look completely different athletic wise in a few months. It's jus that he can';t be the main ball handler when he can't get by anyone.

I know I'm in the minority, but X's and O's excite me more than the highlight-reel plays. It's why our LeBron-led Cavs teams always left me wanting more from a basketball standpoint (obviously I cherish the championship).

A well-executed DHO, a perfectly timed backdoor cut, and hitting the slip on a flare screen all get me more hyped than anything that happens in isolation.

For real.

I wonder why that is. I feel the same..
Though, if Garland hit those Steph Curry step backs then I would feel pretty damn hyped. I think it depends who does it; whether it's an established star or a developing player/rookie. Once you know a player can hit that shot some what consistently then it loses some of the excitement too, especially if it seems that he forces it. Like Lebron does.

I'm going to wake up in the middle of the night to watch the game tonight. Had to cancel my gastro test lol. The lady hung up on me. Whatever.. I have another test on friday so it's just too much anyways.

1. I truly believe Kawhi has flat out passed LeBron as the best player in the league now.

2. The Lakers lack of ball handling beyond LeBron is going to be one of their biggest downfalls.

3. The Clippers are on a totally different level than this Lakers team.

If LeBron isn't the best player in the league anymore when he's full go, the Lakers have no chance at a championship

The Lakers lack of ball handling outside of LeBron is magnified against the Clippers. You're gonna have the three-headed monster of Beverley, Leonard, George out there ball-hawking on the perimeter. They're gonna have 10 steals between them a game in a series against this Lakers team.

Its early... but damn... Lakers look incredible
It was, in fact, early.

Also, holy shit the Clippers are deep. And adding PG to that will only help since he’s not a star who needs to iso all the time, he’s content just jacking 3s and playing great defense most of the game.

I'm not sure LeBron is even the best player on his team. But obviously it's early---so I don't want to get too wild...but I think it at least is going to be a conversation.

Dude. I think Kawhi is a great player and all, but this shit has to stop. I believe he can be best in the league for a few years (as he arguably was last year and playoffs), but he has exactly 2 seasons with over 21ppg and only 2 seasons of playing more than 70 games in his career at the age of 28. He's not like Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, or anyone else in that top tier of all-time greats. He may well end up being in the tier below those guys, but we need to chill out on the hyperbole.
He will end up with more rings than POSLBJ

Really wish The Cavs had a player like Montrez Harrell

We could have had Harrell but we took Tyus Jones instead. Dude didn't go until the second round. One of those players who is a tweener but has tremendous motor and athleticism and looked really good in college. You need to be able to develop players to get guys like that.

No, we could have had Harrell if we didn't go for Rakeem Christmas.
We had both Rican Holmes and Harrell there for the taking and I loved both.

Oh, Harrell went before Rakeem. I'd still take Cedi over Harrell because at the time he was a better prospect.
