Everyone gets fooled into thinking the Lakers roleplayers aren't very good as they are a bunch of journeyman and not light out shooters.

But damn they have a ton of very good defenders (guys who play both good on the ball and team) and are willing to play great team ball. Everyone is willing to rotate the ball and they have guys who while not great shooters are decent and can actually put the ball on the floor.

We can disagree.. I don't think Howard has played winning basketball in some time.. But I am willing to buy you a beer if he becomes the hero of the series!
Dwight Howard has been fantastic all year for the Lakers.
One wonders what could have been from him if joined Lebron earlier in his career. He does all the things you want in a rim running center well (defends bigs, rotates onto the roll man, finishes lobs)

Miami is no cake walk for the Lakers. They got rim protection and the perimeter defense to throw at Lebron and the shooters to pull their rim protectors out of the lane

Remember how the cavs defeated miami (KPJ breakout game)? Given butler disnt play, but the cavs punished miami by posting up robinson and herro. The cavS used their big lineup of nance-love-TT. LBJ and AD would be more than a handful against the Heat.

yeah the other issue for Miami is the zone is not going to bas effective against the Lakers. They''ll put AD at the FT line and Miami will have to collapse which opens everything up for the Lakers

If Denver can push the Lakers then I'll tune back in. No interest in big market teams especially without a matchup like Kawhi v Giannis last year. I like Jimmy Butler but not enough to get invested in a series where the winner gets fed to the Lakers.

NBA would be better off if the east could get it's shit together. Outside of Milwaukee and Indiana, all the midwest teams are ass. Atlanta and New York are consistently bad.

I don't see Lebron letting any of these three remaining teams stop him from getting his fourth ring. Except for 2011 it has always taken an all-time great team to KO Lebron. Even that 2011 Mavs team wasn't bad.

Injuries could stop LA but hard to see what else...

I don't think the Nuggets win this series, but it's worth considering that they got blown out by the Clippers in game 1, too. The Clippers appeared to have Jokic well under control until they didn't. The Lakers should assume that Jokic will solve their current defensive scheme and have backup plans to keep him off balance.

What a backbreaking loss for the Nuggets. They shot 14 more free throws, the Lakers had 24 turnovers, and LeBron had a really bad second half. That's a game you absolutely need to win. Hard to see the Nuggets coming back now, but they already came back from 3-1 twice this playoffs so who knows.

Lebron almost lost LA the game. His ego is so big that he completely disregarded the fact that AD was the much better option in the 4th quarter and especially down the stretch. Lebron doesn't have the explosiveness to get past players at the end of games and his game becomes a mess when he has to settle. Just pass it to AD man.

I get that he wants to be regarded as the best player on this LA team, but that's lame.
