It’s interesting I have seen the cavs have some interest in Terry Armstrong. He played for my team in nbl last season and was super disappointing. I thought given he has natural athletic advantage over most in the league he’d at least be able to do something half decent. He barely played tho so small sample size.

I watched Joe Ingles 14 years ago and he was by far the better player at the same age and didn’t get drafted or play in the NBA for almost 8 years

Really wish the Suns had something else to offer for Love... Love would fit RIGHT IN with a CP3/Booker/Ayton combination.

However, other than the #10 pick this year, they have nothing else worth going after.

It's a future first with protections:

2022 1-12 protected
2023 1-10
2024 1-8
2025 Unprotected.

So it should be late lottery or outside lottery if they truly take the next step vs giving up the #10 this year.

Yeah they got 2 good players and a first round pick for a 35 year old who is injury prone.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Danny Green and Ricky Rubio. I figure they got rid of Schroder and CP3 to clear the way for SGA to run the point. I could see them moving on from Rubio sooner than later just so SGA can run the point by himself.

I disagree. Shai is a shooting guard. He doesn't have that vision, and I don't know why he is touted as a pg when he has .2 more assists than Sexton. Sexton has had more potential assists each year too.

I like Shai, and am not down on him, but I don't think he is a very good facilitator. True he has not been handed the keys, but If were them I would keep Rubio or try to find another pg using his contract. No coincidence they are possibly trying to trade up for Lamelo or another one of the pgs.

I think Shai is a bit overrated and gets a pass as a tweener that other guys don't

Chris Paul is still extremely good. How he dictates the game at his stature, I couldn’t tell you. Injuries are a big concern. But even in his advanced age he’s a big addition. Great going for it move.

Phoenix is loserdom. However their bubble performance showed they’re flirting with relevance. Paul, while not a champion, is known to establish The Rub in locker rooms. He gets on people’s nerves and is good at motivating people, by hook or crook.
