A real guy that currently sucks balls
You've got no vision. He's got great defensive potential, plays with tremendous effort and energy also long and athletic. His offensive game is raw but he's got a lot to work with and he's going to be great defensively imo. I think he's kind of similar to Collin with his motor and he can hang with bigger guys, doesn't care about contact, kid's tough.

Watch a lot of people saying we should have picked Tyler Herro obviously are going to come out of the woodwo

@Nathan S where was he on your board?

I had Herro/Garland 17/18 on my board. Neither was really on the radar for me at #5.

Who was0?

I honestly wanted to trade down.

Realistically, I would've traded down to get Grant Williams and Goga Bitadze, who were 4/5 on my board. Williams has kinda sucked, though he's carved out a rotation role on a 10-1 team so I guess that counts for something. Bitadze looks fantastic.

Bitadze was my target. Picking William's in that range is crazy, no offense.

I had reddish as a five possibility, and Bitadze, but missed Herro, PJ Washington and Cam Johnson completely..

Why do you say that?

Nassir doesn't fit. He is a huge project that we have no place or resources for. At his position, we have Porter, Windler, Cedi we need to develop. Then we also we have Sexton and Garland and a future lottery pick to develop. Why would we waste the resources to develop a relatively mediocre talent? do you know how many players have the tools...why would Nassir be different? because he was highly touted as a prospect? So far, I have no seen anything remarkable..even on the defensive end. He also looks small on the court for someone who has no offensive skill at the moment. He really looks like a tweener.

I say no thank you...I'd rather look for a prospect that fits and has more things to bring to the table now. He might turn out to be good, but Cavs should not waste anything on him.

Wanted Clarke, Herro. Would
Who do you pick in this draft after Ja/Zion/Goga, though?

Had Clarke with Goga. Then Herro. Had no problem going for Hachimura only if we had guarantee that Goga would last till 17. Goga is the better prospect imo. I also wouldn't have been opposed to Langford or Walker as upside picks. Didnt scout Walker, though.

I'm rating Gsrland off of Highlights and limited college games. Didnt have him on my radar at 5th , but was very happy after watching him carefully. Again, I was all about trading down in this draft though. Bad sraer though doesnt mean much yet.

At 4/5 though? Maybe Clarke. Feels too high for Herro/Langford/NAW/Hachimura. Hayes maybe? Washington? RJ? Slim pickings after the pretty clear top-3 of Ja/Zion/Goga.

No, only in a trade down scenario. Say we traded with the Hawks instead of NO.

If not, I'm happy with the Garland pick. I just loved the value at the mid/late lottery and teens.

I like his potential more as a 4 who's switchable, I see him more as a PJ Tucker type. We currently don't have anyone on the roster who can really guard multiple positions effectively. He plays with "remarkable" energy in my opinion, very determined, I like his upside.

If you are the Sixers would you consider trading Harris and filler for Chris Paul? What about Ben Simmons?

I said in the summer that the Sixers would and should look into a Simmons for Paul swap.

For all the Simmons stans on this forum, I would not want that guy on my side in the playoffs (but I do accept the counter-argument about Paul’s injuries.)

Can't say that I would. Not sure what that move actually does for them.
