I think teams are tanking early this year.. hard to explain GSW playing a team not worthy of summer league, or Atlanta with 5 wins given the talent they have..

At this point there is as much a race for the bottom as there is for the top..

I think Clippers and Mavs will give LA a run for the money..

This is embarrassing. You give up your only star player, sign some good roleplayers that all play the same position and blame the coach. It sucks for Fizdale.

I'm not sure he is great, but they have a pretty questionable roster. Randle is pretty good, but he has been on 3 teams in 3 years.

For whatever reason I have gotten the chance to watch the Knicks a lot over the past two years. Fizdale had very little to work with, but it seemed like he was playing lots of mind-games with the Knicks' young players and that he had completely lost the locker room.

Fizdale was terrrrrible. No offensive gameplan, bad rotations, ego issues and badp layer management. He was bad all around...that does not mean that the Knicks FO isn't a joke jok -- but he was shitty.

I agree with this. But I hate that he’s been made the scapegoat while management remains. The roster was objectively terribly constructed.

Totally agreed. It’s a much, much bigger problem than Fizdale. He was the guy in middle management - who is objectively terrible at his job - that gets blamed for the company’s bankruptcy.

Do teams frequently "protest" blown calls in losses, and this one is just in the news because it's Harden and it was such an unusual situation? Or are the Rockets just being comically arrogant?

I for one am glad in a year in which old Bron and his Lakers are 19-3, probably on his way to a title, the ratings are at an all-time low. Nobody really cares outside of Laker fans and Lebron fanboys. I think its hilarious. Lebron dancing in his socks last night and most sports fans didnt even see it.

I totally get why ratings are down. My enthusiasm for basketball was really high at the start of the year, but is rapidly fading as the season rolls along. The Lakers basically never lose, so its Golden State all over again. Just too much talent on one team. Not too mention that LeBron is all any media talks about, and it feels like another lame lopsided NBA season.

I'm quite enjoying the Lakers. Was saying all summer the posters here were seriously underestimating the AD/Bron combo. Still a long way to go, but they are fun to watch. I would love Bron to get another championship. I don't know why there is all this hate for the guy. He's like a Jim Thome who actually delivered the goods for us. Can't wait for the statute.

You honestly may want to talk to someone about this, so you aren't apoplectic when Bron is holding the trophy in June. I don't see anything stopping playoff LeBron and AD.
