I don't think he's even a Cavs fans: he only seems to post rag on Lebron
There it is....Mr. Smartass. I hadnt signed in for a while but i knew when they lost to the Clippers you would do your usual tired act. All i ever see you do in here is go back.through threads and post that kind of shit. Insult posters like crazy.
But as for Bron and your Lakers, you defend him by talking shit then he cant hit fts, and blows a bunny against the mighty Nets. Like i said before, you are nothing but a Lebron fanboy.

That post was meant for Jmoney. Not you

Training facilities to be shut down tomorrow, after a week of having allowed players to train solo.

I sincerely hope the fans of Milwaukee get a chance to see their team this season compete for a championship.

Between this and leading the way with Dan on paying team employees, Cuban has done a nice job of rehabilitating the team image after being at the epicenter of the NBA Metoo.

Woj bombs of the day.

Scary that they were even willing to publicly consider this.

It's like they squandered all of the good will they got from "trusting the process."

The upper level FO/coaching staff could handle it if they absolutely had to, and are welcome to donate as many others have, but $50K doesn't go far at all in Philly.

have you ever hired an employee? Like, have you owned a business?

What are your thoughts on the new $2T stimulus plan and how that affects the decision, specifically the $600/week 4 month bump in unemployment benefits? How do you rate your opinion versus the advisors of NBA owners?

No. But I realize that there are a lot of strings attached and additional expenses above and beyond just an employee salary, if that's what you're getting at.

I also understand that there is no free lunch and such. I don't know all the ins and outs of the bill other than that there are tons of "strings attached" as well as, as you said, the unemployment extension.

While the $600/wk addition is helpful and, in fact, would often bring a $50K salary person right up to where they were for those 4 months, there would also be a big benefit to just remaining on a company payroll if possible, as Gilbert/Cuban led the way on, rather than entering the newly saturated unemployment line.

There's lots of headlines that other teams are struggling to make this same tough decision, and I completely understand it; I also certainly don't understand all of the factors as well as NBA owners do.

My issue is less with the economic reality of it, and more of the PR failure of how the Sixers waited until the last days to get pressured into their change, hence why I said "publicly" consider this.

I see it as cultural.. there is an old school business attitude which is throw out the employees to save the business. Sometime you have to make that call to survive, but the Texas company docking worker paychecks for the stimulus amount is a good example of sociopathic management.. if you did not see this coming as a business owner, you should be fired..

Just googled that, wow, although understandably the identity was kept confidential.

From what I understand, the recipient has to, under most circumstances, give back the credit on next year's tax, though, so in this case the employees are coming out behind if they don't take other jobs or otherwise get paid back by the current employer in the next year.

I don't think the company has the right to dock pay, especially if that drops below minimum wage..

It's amazing to me the level of heartless in some business management over the past decade ago.. I think there is an attitude of "let them eat cake" in some global corps today. You would think that as we come outta this particular crazy, investors might consider tossing these knuckleheads for cratering the stock value by poor risk management..

God is this tone deaf. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Rachel Nichols though. Nobody is caring about the NBA’s revenue or whether of not these well off athletes are being paid. Not to mention, nobody gives a damn whether they can quarantine somewhere to finish a meaningless season of basketball.

Absolutely no perspective from these people.
