I'd put Murray or Harris on Lebron and have him attack his dribble. Just try to steal the ball in traffic. That's an area he doesn't get calls. They would be at a severe strength advantage, but I think it is underused strategy on him. It makes him have to use more energy.

Davis has definitely given Joker problems, I think they would rather have Howard on him? Who guards Davis?

It does seem like Guarding AD and Lebron will be harder for Denver than LA guarding Joker and Murray. Denver needs to junk it up as often and in as many way s as possible.

Agree that getting the ball out of LeBron's hands early in possessions is a winning strategy for Denver. The more other Lakers have to handle the ball and create offense, the better.

Using Davis to guard Jokic would be a gamble because Jokic could easily get AD in foul trouble, and if AD gets in foul trouble that creates all kinds of headaches for the Lakers. Fortunately for them, McGee and Howard are both pretty good 1-on-1 defensive options vs. Jokic.

Biggest question for Denver, imo, is who is guarding LeBron on defense and who is going to be making him work on Defense?

That matchup seems like such a nightmare for Denver, but then again so did Kawhi...

First question isn't too hard, IMO. They have a handful of energetic wings who can take turns guarding LeBron (or trying to). Second question is really tough, though. Nuggets don't have any wings who can put pressure on LeBron, which will give him plenty of opportunities to play free safety on defense, which is where he's at his most dangerous. And the Nuggets have already been turnover prone at times. Brings me back to the conclusion that Murray needs to play out of his mind individually to create a mismatch and give the Nuggets a chance.

Him playing out of his mind was a big reason they are there. At times it looked like the clippers couldn't even slow him down. I thought clippers had the best perimeter defense in the league before the playoffs started. What he has done is impressive. For me, I was already wrong about this team.

Lakers are not a good matchup for Denver. Who is going to check AD? What if AD can slow down Jokic? they can also throw Howard and even McGee at him. Lakers can go small or big, and I think both could pose problems for the Denver defense.

Vogel has already hinted the Lakers will go big and has said that both McGee and Howard will be getting significant minutes. So maybe they will blanket Jokic with 7 footers, clearly they think he is the motor.

how many crazy second half comebacks will there be in these playoffs?

Always bet on the team down at the half.

This is a mistaken assumption the Clippers theoritically have the best wing defense but Doc couldn't pull the trigger and sit Williams and Jackson. Suddenly they become a weak defensive team. Stupid coaching to be honest and they should have picked up another defensive big

Danny Green blows now which hurts the Lakers shooting but they have tough defenders across the board. It's going to be good fight but I just don't see the Lakers losing this as the matchups favor the Lakers here

Weird that Boston is so bad against the zone. It's not like they should be surprised Toronto thru it at them and they got back in the series

They put smart in the middle of the zone instead of Tatum and it just gummed up their offense as he doesn't have enough length to be a threat there

Lol, Bam Adebayo has springs for legs. The guy just bounces off the floor like he has a trampoline underneath him.

Any LA strategy hinging on Dwight Howard is good for Denver..

I think it's really similar to the last series. If you can't get stops against LA, they are going to kill you.. LA can get stops at will. They absolutely put the brakes on Harden, who is one of the best offensive players in the league.. You have to be able to defend back..

I think Denver loses, but has a chance to wear LA down.. I still think Lakers take it all though..

Jokic is the engine, so if you can limit him or stop him then you give yourself quite a good chance to win.
I don't agree that it's good for Denver if Howard can prove to be good defensively in that unit. He was also pretty good before the bubble.

We can disagree.. I don't think Howard has played winning basketball in some time.. But I am willing to buy you a beer if he becomes the hero of the series!

He did play winning basketball just this season. And nah, I don't think he is going t be the hero of this series lol.

Will Dion Waiters become a champion? Will J.R Smith become a two-time champion?

Tune in all week!

Barring injury, thats a wrap on this series. Bron with 15/11/slor in a blowout.

Slor-shit load of rest
