yes, but instead of taking the qualifying offer, he will take a multi year deal instead from them.

mlbtraderumors has the twins signing Bumgarner for 4 year/72 mil, Odorizzi at 3 year/51 mil and Will Smith for 3 year/42 mil. So should Odorizzi sign for 1 year 18 or 3 year 51? Lol Odorizzi will decline the qualifying offer and take a contract from the highest bidder and with the draft pick put on his name I don’t think anyone will outbid the Twins anyways.

I will most certainly take your expertise over mine.

One thing is for sure, if the Twins have 40$ mil to spend and they get better....unless they hire Freddie Kitchens as a hitting coach or something, we need to make a few moves to keep up with them.
