2019 Browns Off Season/Roster Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yep!

Also, one thing about OBJ - I have never heard a teammate or coach publicly criticize him, even after the trade. The only ones who do it are "anonymous sources."
Those "anonymous sources" must be a secret group trying to take over the whole sports world. Just look at what happened with the NBA. Heck, I think Hydra is behind all this

Heck yeah!! We'll have to talk :)

We are getting a party bus to the stadium and assuming going to their version of a tailgate outside the stadium.

When it gets closer and the game thread is created by Stark (does he still do that?) then we definitely should talk to see if a meet up can happen. If you can't make it to our party bus then at least meet up between the 1st/2nd to get a drink.

I am assuming tailgaiting in Baltimore involves running around allot without ever passing anyone a beer, or at leas not accurately.

Party bus from where? Might be doing one from D.C. where I have a bunch of friends; still talking through it but it seems like the move.

For sure!

I got tickets for the first training camp session. There’s a seat number on my ticket. Do they have assigned seats now at camp?

Two pivotal pieces that made sure AJ McCarron did not become a Brown for a king's ransom

Part of the Mr. Katherine Webb king's ransom ended up being Nick Chubb, one of the most crucial parts of our team...

Indeed, Sashi died for us...

Also sounds as though OBJ knows he is young and immature. Not, omg, i have to grow up quickly. But, more along the lines that he's immature, or has been, for someone in the spotlight so much being a famous athlete. He's still trying to figure out his limits, and I really don't have a problem with it. His fame skyrocketed because of the catch. Really think that being around his bestie Jarvis, who is more grounded, will pay dividends for his "fame" maturity

That he's consistently been willing to admit when he needs to grow up, and actually followed through on it, is what separated him from, say Johnny and Justin Glbert.

Between OBJ, Landry from that draft, the anti-Johnny in Baker, and the anti-Gilbert in Denz, we truly have made amends for the blunders of the 2014 draft...

On the third day, he rose again...

The latest from The Ringer handles the Sashi Brown legacy much better and more accurately:

To paraphrase, both Hinkie and Brown brought a modern plan to their teams that was very, very good... but in getting fired they probably improved their image through getting fired and allowing actual talented GMs take over with all those accumulated assets. Both Hinkie and Sashi are treated as martyrs, but neither one had a very good track record for hitting on draft picks. At some point, acquiring the right young players and developing them is the most important part of the job.

So, if somebody cut and pastes a picture of John Dorsey on the body of Vishnu, curry my goat and call me Indian.

I totally agree...my post was a shitpost :chuckle:

So what is Duke worth? I'd say the Browns are holding out for a 4th rounder. I feel like they are waiting until some starting running back blows out his ACL in camp, allowing Dorsey to deal from a position of leverage.

You never know with Rosenhaus - half expecting this to be followed up with a "Duke holding out of training camp to put pressure on Brown's FO to trade him" tweet.
