I honestly don't have much sympathy for guys like Calloway, nor do I even have a particular wish that they succeed beyond whatever good their skills contribute.

The fact is, football rosters are a zero sum game. Every guy that makes and stays on a roster means some other guy doesn't. So, I have no particular emotional desire to see Calloway get a second or third chance over a guy who has done everything right and is trying to get his first chance.
Yep, I also imagine the Browns can recoup the fifth they spent on Calloway. I’d be fine trading him for that, defensive line depth, or depth at offensive tackle.

Higgins reminds me of DeAndre Hopkins out there. And they actually have fairly similar profiles. College dominator, college YPR, and breakout age are all pretty similar. Hopkins has a better athletic profile (Higgins is bottom of the barrel in that regard), but I think we can all agree that Higgins doesn't look like a 5th percentile SPARQ-X guy when the pads are on. At any rate, Higgins is just a guy who goes and gets the fucking ball, just like Hopkins. He's not on Hopkins' level, but who is?
Probably Julio Jones. I also think Mike Evans is criminally under rated, with a better QB, he would possibly be top 5.

Mike Evans is way too inefficient to be compared to Julio and Hopkins. He gets no yards after completion.

Winston is better than anything Hopkins had before Watson came along.

Hope so.

Because if not, Landry is going to be playing elsewhere next year. Or should be.
There's a good chance he is. The guy's overpaid.

He's still one of the best in football at getting open. He's not freakishly quick like OBJ or AB but he's just as polished of a route runner with great hands and body control.

I'm admittedly higher on Landry than most. I had him as a first round grade coming out of LSU.

Landry just needs to catch more of his targets this season. 54% ain't gonna cut it for a guy making that kind of money. Pretty simple.

I still believe in him, but his performance last season was certainly a tad disappointing. He wasn't bad or anything, but he wasn't great either.

Last year was the worst tape I've ever seen of him. LSU included. I don't expect a repeat of those drops.

Who has more yards after week 4: Hollywood or Juice?

Don't get me wrong...he's a very good slot receiver. One of the best in the league.

I just think Higgins is a better overall receiver. Like, if I were starting a team and I could have one of Higgins or Landry, give me Higgins because I think he has WR1 potential. Landry is a WR2. That's his role.

I think Higgins is closer to Taylor Gabriel than DeAndre Hopkins.

He's a very good third wr that we're lucky to have. If you're gonna call him a number 1, then there are about 60 number 1's in the league
