2019 Browns Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah lets move this conversation along now.

Back to the rant... I swear no sports teams no how to rip the enthusiasm out of you like Cleveland teams do. Most hype going into a season i can remember, and its gone just like that. Instantly back to being defensive, sensitive, downtrodden Cleveland fans.

They better win this week.

It's so bad I instantly felt it when we missed the PAT.

Figured as much. I’m sure the athlete will also be held accountable like any other human being

What did the athlete do wrong? He went and congratulated 2 Titan fans. Did you see the video?

For, trying to stop a fan from pouring beer on his teammates?

C'mon...

:chuckle:

What part about it being against the rules to jump into the opposing stadiums seats is so hard to comprehend? God I'm a lurker and this whole back and forth is ridiculous. The office party analogy is the best I've seen and no matter what opinions are all parties still walk away assholes.

He broke the rules?

Visiting players are not allowed to jump into the stands.

Gosh Lee didn't you read the first 300 messages about this?

What specific rule are you referencing?

Man, can't we find some common ground here? I don't think anyone is saying what the fan did was right. It wasn't.

But jumping into the stands, is not tolerable, whatsoever.

Fuckin' Artest got suspended for an entire season for it. I realize he ran into the stands, to beat the shit out of a fan. But the fan threw something at him, while he was on the court. Which is much more inexcusable. Because unlike Logan, Artest was just sitting there on the court.

But then again Goodell is not David Stern.

Fans don't belong on the field, and players don't belong in the stands. These rules should be taken seriously.

Players should be automatically suspended if they enter the stands. Stay on the field. You can taunt fans if you choose, but do it on the field.

Going into the stands is asking and welcoming trouble.

Common ground would not be comparing what Logan Ryan did to Ron Artest.

That is just not remotely what was happening on film. If Ryan actually went after the fan or tried to get physical with him, yes.

But exaggerating his intent and over-using the phrase "went into the stands" just isn't being honest about what happened.

It would be shocking if Ryan were disciplined.
