2019 Buckeyes Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lettermen Row is reporting Kerry Coombs is the top target. They are apparently willing to spend a significant amount to bring him back.
That would be incredible. He'd be here for the long haul too.

No concerns about schematic fit? Also, is there a source that has knowledge the sides have talked or anything or was that piece just speculative?

Any know where I can find "speed games" for any of Clemson's games this year?

I was thinking, with only one more game left of OSU to play this decade, it's the right time for an all-decade team

QB - Braxton Miller
JT Barrett has better counting stats, Haskins and Fields had better individual seasons and Cardale had the best 3 game stretch. But I think Braxton was the best overall. Certainly the most fun to watch.

RB - Ezekiel Elliott
Apologies to JK Dobbins and Carlos Hyde, but don't think this is much of a debate.

TE - Nick Vannett
No good answer, really. I'd be fine with about 3 or 4 different choices

WR - Devin Smith, Michael Thomas and Paris Campbell
I feel Smith and Thomas are locks. 3rd WR could also go to Terry Mclaurin, KJ Hill, Jalin Marshall or Curtis Samuel. I think Campbell's big play ability separates him.

OT - Jack Mewhort, Taylor Decker
Thayer Munford or Jamarco Jones have an argument.

OG - Billy Price, Pat Elfien
Could've thought about putting one of them at center and putting Wyatt Davis at the other guard

OC - Corey Linsley
Price and Elflien were probably the 2 best centers, but I feel better about Linsley over 1 year of Davis. Plus, Linsley played more than1 year at C.

DE - Chase Young, Joey Bosa
As good as Nick Bosa is, I don't think his college career was anywhere near as good as the other 2. Tyquan Lewis and John Simon deserve honorable mention.

DT - Michael Bennet, Dremont Jones
Don't see argument for anyone else.

LB - Ryan Shazier, Darron Lee, Raekwon McMillan
Malik Harrison has been really good, as was Jerome Baker, but I feel good about these 3.

CB - Jeff Okudah, Marshon Lattimore
Denzel Ward if we go nickle, dropping out Raekwon

S - Malik Hooker, Von Bell

Punter - Cameron Johnston
Obvs

Kicker - Drew Basil
I picked the first one I thought of.

Returner - Philly Brown
OSU's return game has been lacking, but he was always a big play threat.

Great list. My only real beef is Campbell > KJ Hill and Jalin Marshall even being mentioned.

Braxton was probably my favorite QB but he may also be the least decorated. Obivously, not all of that is his fault, but still... Only QB with a blemish against Michigan. Never won a B1G Championship. 0-2 as starting QB in bowl games.

JT 4-0 against Michigan. B1G Championship. 2-1 in bowl games. Broke all the career records.

Cardale with a B1G championship, Sugar Bowl win over Bama, and National Title win in his 3 starts.

Haskins all the single season records. 1-0 against Michigan. B1G Championship. 1-0 in bowl games. Heisman finalist.

Fields 1-0 against Michigan. B1G Championship. Heisman finalist.

JT didn't play but he was a major factor in us making that title run as well.

It's too bad we only got one year of Haskins, he was amazing and it'd be a treat to watch him lead our offense with THIS defense backing him up. I guess we will settle for a younger guy who's also a Heisman finalist, ugh.

True, I wish we could've seen more of Haskins too, but not this year. Fields is an upgrade over him, IMO. I think Fields is the best QB we've ever had, Troy Smith included.

JT was a great college QB but he didn't have the arm to get it done against the Clemson's of the world. He didn't even play well from a passing standpoint against teams like Michigan, Wisconsin, MSU, PSU (2017 being an exception) ... he just grinded them all out.

Braxton
Fields
Haskins
JT
Cardale

May move Fields to 1 depending on how the playoffs go.

Fields says he's at 85%. Whether that's accurate or not, he likely won't be 100% when we play Clemson. If he still leads us to a title, it'd be hard to argue against him being the best. 15-0 and wins against two undefeateds including revenge for our last playoff loss and last national title game loss (presumably).

A man can dream...

Does anyone know how I might be able to get access to a full version of the game after the fact? I am gonna be flying during the game and I'd like to watch it without spoilers if at all possible. Booked the flight so long ago only to find out I totally blew it.

I am sure it’ll be available at watchespn, but don’t know how you access that without spoilers.
